I was thrilled to find mini-tweezers, let alone colored ones. Although they cost $6.99, I was impressed that this store carried tweezers that I haven't been able to find at larger stores. They also carried my favorite liquid eye-liner in dark brown. What hooked me was the $2.99 bottle of nail polish remover. I just thought it was funny that a different store was selling it for 50 cents more. I guess the demand for nail polish remover must be higher as you get closer to the beach. Tony has the cutest Dachshund running around this shop. I like the fact that he is easygoing enough not to worry that the dog might knock things over. One strange thing that happened though is that my total was $11.98. I tried to pay with a large bill, but he didn't have change. When I returned, I jokingly asked if I could get a discount for going next door to break the bill. He actually said "yes"! However, my total turned out to be $16.37. I hope that the sudden price increase had nothing to do with me flashing my C-note.
