I emailed Amy in response to an advertisement (job opening) listed on her website for an Intellectual Property (Engineering) Attorney.

I was really depressed before meeting with her. This has been the most difficult year of my life. I have two degrees from Stanford, and one from NYU. I was let gof in January from my IP firm due to lack of work. And, for the first time in my life, I could not find a job.

I met with Amy for about 40 minutes. She listened to me - & not to sound corny, but really helped me with my confidence - gave me some hope.

I was actually amazed that she got me some interviews -- I had been trying for MONTHS! All at Top ranked firms (one national and one global).

I really liked her assistant, who turns out has an Ivy league education like myself (tho a lot younger).

I consider this consulting firm as elite, experts in the field, and just really good people.

Very high marks!

I am an Insurance Litigation Attorney (Partner) - have had my own firm for about 15 years. Trial litigator.
My portable business has always been north of $1 million.

Given the current state of the economy over the course of this last year my portable business dropped significantly.

I emailed Amy to inquire about options. She told me she would send me a list of firms that may interest me, and that my resume would not be sent out with my permission.

Days later, she forwarded the list, and I approved several of her clients.

Two months later, I have accepted a position at one of the best firms in my industry. I could not believe that she was able to get me as many interviews as she did.

Throught this process, Amy has been outstanding. She is responsive, truthful, honest, upbeat, and really believes in what she does. She helped me out tremendously. Needless to say, my wife is thrilled.

Highest appreciation and praise to her and her staff.

Like this company a lot. Found them very informed, connected. Helped me obtain work I never would have found on my own & at a great firm.

Beautiful offices, helpful staff -- they are Quick!

Highly recc for Attorneys of all levels - Know they staff major litigation cases, doc reviews. Amy also places associates, partners and groups.

No BS!

Company results were very impressive.

I graduated from a top 20 law school & was- recently caught up in large firm downsizing - as a mid-level associate. Met with many recruiters in LA.

A partner at my last firm who is very well respected knew Amy & suggested I speak with her.

I was working within weeks after registering & meeting her. One thing I liked was that she stays late in order to accomodate people with day jobs.

Found themgood at personality profiling & figuring out what law firms will match individual personalities.

I'm really enjoying the firm I'm at. I found Amy really personable - especially compared to a lot of the other companies I've met. Granted this is all subjective and everyone has their own style, etc.

Bottom line - All of the partners at my new job think very highly of the company (& Amy) - & think she's staffed about 1/2 the firm. ----

Kossoris Search is a one stop shop for job openings. I think it's almost better than craigslist for those who are looking for jobs in the legal world. Not all law firms will post openings on places like monster and craigslist, but for some reason, Amy is always in the know when it comes to positions. After sending my resume and meeting with Amy, she pretty much took my job search off my hands and personally helped me find a position for free. That's the best part! you don't have to pay for this service! The only con i wld say is that Amy seems to be super busy and I had to wait about 15 min to meet with her. But I always believe that taht's how you can tell if a service is reputable - if there are a lot of people waiitng in line to see her! On the plus side, she's readily available by phone or email at pretty much any hour of the day, so you don't always have to meet in person.

I've always been skeptical about search firms. Several of my friends from law school used to tell me these horror stories about bad experiences with legal recruiters. Unfortunately, tough times call for tough measures, so when I reached the 6 month unemployment mark, I decided to give it a shot. What's to lose, right? i was really surprised to find that this search firm is really people friendly, not like a lot of the ones you hear about where they put you through rounds of testing and all sorts of paperwork. I liked the personal touch that I got from working with Amy one on one. you can tell she's not just another headhunter in a big corporate recruiting engine, she does things her way and her way works. I Loved that it was a casual atmosphere around her yet it was professional and instructive. Now i'm saying goodbye to unemployment and hello to my long term career. Long story short, it's worth a shot to anyone that ever had any doubts.

I recently found out about Kossoris through a friend who got placed into her company by Amy a couple years ago. My friend wasn't lying when she said Amy works for you right away and really gets things done. This woman is so on top of it! Within a matter of days following my initial interivew with her, she had already gotten me lined up for several interviews at big firms. I don't know how she does it, but she has awesome contacts. I guess that's the perk of working with a head hunter - you don't have to do the searching and she already has great relationships with her clients. I'd definitely pass on her card to anyone interested.

Amy is by far my favorite recruiter in LA. I've worked with several other search firms before and have not had great experiences, until I came across Kossoris Search. Unlike other headhunters, Amy really gives you personal attention and care. She's genuine and really cool and friendly to work with. It's not just some automated process like with larger search firms; Amy really loves what she does and it shows through the attention she pays to her work. She gets things done fast and more importantly, she gets them done right. I've temped through her several times in the past, and now I've finally scored a permanent position, so I really owe thanks to Amy for helping me out so much throughout the years. She's a lifesaver!

Amy is simply amazing... what more can I say? She helped me find a high paying job in a tough economy when no other recruiter would/could help me. She pulled some fast connections and got me placed right away. I'm going to refer all my law school friends who are looking for a job to her. Kossoris Search is awesome!! Two thumbs up!

Just go to facebook and gossip. The positive reviews are clearly written by the same person. Negative reviews that list ugly faces as a con should be discarded out of hand. And now you've gone and made me waste my time as well, to chide you. I hope you've learned something.

Amy saved my life (literally). I owe her the world.

I am an attorney with an Ivy League education. I have been with top firms ever since graduating law school. This last fall, I was let go from my firm - by total surprise. Not only was I extremely down - I was scared and felt very low about myself.

I went to so many recruiters. All told me that they could not help me. That I didn't have enough business, and that the market was horrible. I didn't know what to do. I couldn't find a job.

I was referred to Amy by another top law firm. She called me right away, met with me, and even took me out to dinner. She was so supportive, positive, and told me she could help me.

I was floored! The next day, she called me about an interview. (A partner she went to law school with wanted to meet me). Well, a month later, and after a few more interiews set up through her -- I have an AMAZING job, as a partner, at a top ranked national firm.

Amy helped me throughout the entire process. She called me late, coached me through the stressful times, talked to me, was always available. She was there for me when every other recruiter turned me down & told me I was a lost cause. She worked so hard for me and stuck by me.

For ANY ATTORNEY, PARTNER, OR STAFF -- If anyone can help you - Amy will! I think she's underappreciated in her profession, and the job she did for me was pure excellence.

***(She is super sharp -had a few degrees herself & comes from a family that is highly educated.) Knows her sports too!

I have met about 10 recruiters lately, and Amy was by far the best person I've seen.

She is busy - so I had to wait about 5 minutes. That is because she stays at work late, so that people can come see her after work.

I liked that I was able to come dressed casually (She is business/& casual dress herself). And she was flexible with my time -- gave me a 2 hour time range & told me she'd be there.

Well, I am working next week...(I am a Contract Attorney).

Finally - I will note that there was kind of a wacky candidate that left before me -- She can't help everyone, and I can see why some people aren't satisfied. (If you are confrontational or don't have a certain skill set, she can't magically create a job for you).

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!! Also - anyone (see other reviews) -that would write that a recruiter is "unattracive" --Should ask themself why they are unemployed in the first place! (I thought Amy was quite cute & highly energetic.)

I was highly qualified as a legal secretary. I went from one recruiter to another, and I finally found Amy. She
saw, from my resume, that I had experience in specific areas of law. She called a highly prestigious firm and they immediately scheduled an interview. I got the job! And the salary is excellent. Amy is professional and very concerned about my welfare. I would recommend her to anyone!!!

I was referred to Amy Kossoris at Kossoris Search by a friend.
Amy works exclusively with a top Firm - she found my friend a job & has placed about 50 other people at the same Firm.

Amy made me feel real comfortable!! She was OK with me coming over casually, was flexible with my work schedule. Her offices are beautiful - staff really nice and helpful. She got me a job within weeks!! I would have NEVER got the job on my own. One of the best Firms in the world!

Several attorneys at my new Firm know Amy - all say she is classy, and excellent at what she does. She is busy & won't call you every five minutes to chat-- - but she gets the job done & done well!!!

I work at one of the largest (global) Law Firms in the country. I have worked with Amy personally for about 10 years. She is the best recruiter I have ever worked with in Los Angeles.

She does an oustanding job for us- Finds us Contract Attorneys, Paralegals, Secretaries, Staff. Only sends us quality - doesn't waste my time. She has helped me tremendously. She reads people extremely well, is intuitive, quick, bright. - very polished herself, & was brought up with solid values. Is somewhat conservative.

Our Firm likes that she is very selective who she will help, and send us. She isn't afraid to turn down prospective acquaintances that are not up to par. (She won't work with candidates that don't meet very high standards). She has helped candidates of all levels (bright college grads, employee referrals, etc.).

I've seen some crazy reviews -- most seem to be from crazy people themselves.

Best Firm for Attorneys and staff -very high end Firm - The Best In Los Angeles.

I was unsure about Search Firms, but was absolutely impressed with Amy Kossoris. I was referred to her by several associates and Partners at some of the top Law Firms in the Country. (In other words, she is connected with THE BEST Firms in LA. Further, the candidates she has placed in the past are very lucrative and successful people).

Amy was real personable, classy, bright, articulate -polished & just gets it. She didn't waste my time. She got me a few interviews - (both at In-House Companies and a couple law firms). Some of her clients told me she was the only recruiter they work with.

Anyway, I ended up getting an incredible job, that I wouldn't have gotten without her. (It turns out, many of the top companies use her to screen candidates, and don't interview from the outside --- The disgruntled reviews probably from people who would NEVER get into the Firms she works with).

I HIGHLY Recommend! (Final note- offices beautiful, not a long stiff interview when she meets you).

Amy Kossoris and her Firm are ultra professional and high class.

I have been in the legal industry for a decade. Amy was the most put together, and brightest recruiter I have ever met. I can see how she might appeal to highly educated and top ranked Firms (she has top credentials herself & obviously very bright). She seems to just get it.

I like that she is OK with casual dress - No BS.

Amy is an extremely busy woman with a demanding business. She certainly has room for improvement in the punctuality area but I still find her to be extremely professional. She landed me a position in a very prestigious law firm that I am very happy in.

Having a few friends who have also dealt with her who have mixed reviews I believe I can fairly say that she does not put up with a lot. One individual did not show up to an interview she had arranged for them, and Amy does not have time to deal with flakiness. This is time that she invests and how she makes her money, and she loses time/money when people flake out. Judging from the other reviews it seems as though others do not give the professionalism back. If you are not interested in the company she wants to set up an interview with, tell her. She is very accomodating and loves to find the perfect match. She will only treat people like children when they act like children.

I wanted to warn others about this buisness. My friend/co-worker used them and encounter unprofessionalism and rudeness. She is the type to brush it off, but I wanted to stand up for her on her behalf!
I never saw such an unprofessional recruiter and such a spiteful woman!

When my friend decided to use Kossoris she started seemed to be excited, however, that excitement wore off and I soon learned how unprofessional Kossoris is.

The main recruiter Amy was rude, lazy (my friend was told by Amy that she did not start working until 3pm! ) and unorganized.

Amy called our office (the one my friend was trying to leave) looking for my friend! Not only that but Amy's assistant emailed our office! Both times our boss could have EASILY found out. How unprofessional and dense can you be??!! The fact that she was looking for another job is suppose to be confidential...so I thought!

It did not stop there. I heard a voice message that Amy left on my friend's phone where Amy was rude, threatened to give the position away that my friend was applying for and her tone did not hide the fact that she was "just not happy".

When my friend finally decided not to work with her any longer (after tolerating these three events and her unprofessionalism) she wrote Amy to let her know why she not longer wanted to use her and to bow out from the work relationship.

Amy then emailed her back turning everything against my friend and lied and will lie to the firm that my friend interviewed with. She threatened to taint my friend's character. This lady is flat out crazy.

I did my research have read other reviews that have all been negative.

Even though I was not directly affected I do not think anyone should have to go through what my friend has experienced.

Take my advise you do not want to work with this firm! HORRIBLE!!
