John's Space Age Doughnuts

I stopped by John's on accident because I was working across the street a few months ago. I had driven by this place a hundred times before. I went in side and ordered a few donuts. These doughnuts were a knockout! I was hooked! Go in any day of the week and grab a stool and a cup of coffee. You'll see the locals of OP. True story, my wife went in two weeks ago to grab some maple glazed cinnamon rolls. It appeared that John's was out. John ran to the back, saw his son was about to eat the last one, and snatched it out of the boy's hand just for me. Now that's a great business owner! Customers first, first time, every time.

For the best glazed doughnuts in the Kansas City area, head on over to John's Space Age Donuts, but come early, as they typically sell out of doughnuts by 11 a.m. especially on the weekend. Glazed is not their only specialty, however. They make a wide assortment of iced, flavored, sprinkled and filled doughnuts in old fashion shop setting where kids can watch the doughnuts being made through the window.
