Anyone who visits Indy, and certainly anyone who lives here has to go to the Speedway at least once. You can take a tour which includes a bus drive around the track. The museum is interesting and the gift shop has a lot of neat items.

Even if you have never been to an open car race before, you will enjoy going to one at the Indianapolis speedway. It's just so cool. I had no idea how much fun it was before my first race about 10 years ago. I have also been to the formula one race and nascar race there and they are a blast too. Nothing beats the Indy 500 though. And it's a big old party for that one week. Thank God it's not a month anymore. My liver couldn't take it.
