Love, Love, LOVE Shelby Wickhorst & Vision 162!
I became a patient when he first opened his practice then had to leave due to a change of insurance a couple years later. I was thrilled when the opportunity came to switch to a new insurance provider and return as a patient. The office is ran casually, yet professionally, so you feel relaxed and well taken care of. I've never had insurance billing snafu's as I've had in many other Dr's offices here, it's always a seamless transaction. He also asks you for new health information (not just on paper, but an actual conversation) so he can pay special attention to how that may affect your eyes. He seems to have the latest equipment as well. My husband had early onset cataracts and came here for his follow-up appointments with billing to our medical insurance. He is pleased with his knowledge on this condition as well.
If you are looking for a new Eye Dr, give him a call. He is a great Dr and a very, very personable man. I actually look forward to my appointments with him!

I love Vision 162. Dr. Wickhorst is so friendly as is the staff. They take care of all of the paperwork with billing insurance so it's hassel-free. It is right in our neighborhood so it's convenient. If you are looking for a new eye doc go see Dr.Wickhorst...and if you are lucky you might get to say 'hi' to Levi, Doc's adorable cocker spaniel that visits from time to time.
