Grand Vision Center, now a part of MyEyeDr.

Dr. Brett and Dr. Donaldson are incredible. They are courteous, and professional. I enjoyed my time spent picking out frames at the Grand Vision Center. My frames are awesome and so is this practice!

I have been getting my glasses from you guys here for many years now. Dr. Brett and Donaldson are wonderful doctors and I'm so glad to have them on board. The staff at Grand Vision Center take such good care of my needs when choosing a frame. Thank you!

This place is great! I was so impressed with the woman (I wish I could remember her name) who helped my daughter with her glasses. As soon as my little one saw the Disney glasses she was sold. Dr. Donaldson was also very nice and did a great job making her comfortable. Also, I cannot say how grateful I am that they are open Saturdays!

I had a great experience when I went to Grand Vision Center a few weeks ago. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly as is Dr. Donaldson. I ordered my glasses and was called 3 days later to say they were done. I left that day with a gorgeous new pair glasses.

I have been getting really bad headaches for past few years and have not really done anything about it. I just though it was my allergies. I went to Grand Vision to have my eyes checked because it has been a few years. To make a long a story short, Dr. Donaldson noticed something in my left eye. What he saw was called pseudo tumor cerebri and can cause headaches. I went to see a neurologist who put me on a water pill. Within weeks, the headaches were gone

Friendly and helpful staff. I enjoyed my time there. The facility was very nice and clean, with a short wait time. Couldn't have been any better. My doctor was very kind and understanding. I will definitely be back.

I've been wearing contacts for a long time and I'm used to being told what to do without really knowing what was going on. I thought they were great at explaining everything they were doing. I would say go there for contact and glasses!

I am profoundly happy in finding this place. I was going to another famous chain vision center... not to be mentioned, but you know who I am talking about... Ya, they charge up the ying yang for their services and their glasses. I started coming to GV and I can't believe how much I was paying at Lens Crafters. Ok, so I said it, but I'm ticked that they overcharge the way they do.

Best eye appointment ever. Everything from making an appointment to paying my bill went smoothly here. I walked in for my appointment and was greeted by a friendly face. I got there a little early, thinking that it would take me longer to get there, so I was prepared to wait. However, when I got there, Dr. Brett Donaldson was ready to see me right away. After all of the testing, Dr. Brett came out to help me find a new pair of frames. He has great taste and genuinely seems to enjoy helping you pick a pair out. Finally, the invoice. In the past, I have never really understood all the details of what I was paying for after an eye exam. I usually let the insurance take care of that and pay for the difference. Dr. Brett discussed what my insurance covered with me, and had a clear breakdown of exactly what I was paying for in addition to what the insurance covered.

I'm mildly embarrassed to admit that I can't wait to come back and find another pair of frames with Dr. Brett, because I only have a VERY slight case of nearsightedness [and can go most days without even wearing glasses]. I can only hope that my next employer offers insurance so I can go back to the Grand Vision Center! I would highly recommend Grand Vision Center and staff for your optometry needs.

I just saw Dr. Ryann Donaldson last week and wow. If you are looking for a great optometrist, look no further. Dr. Ryann is intelligent, communicates clearly, and still manages to be an all around nice guy. He is not one to recommend more prescriptions or procedures than necessary, but is very thorough with his eye evaluations.
He worked me into the schedule once when my conjunctiva had been scratched by a piece of sand. By that afternoon, my eye felt back to normal. Having been to optometrists in 4 different states, I am glad to have settled in lovely Katy, where I have access to the best optometrist I have visited.

Definitely one of the most comprehensive eye exams I've ever received (and I've worn glasses and/or contacts for 8+ years). Dr. Brett took the time to explain all tests and exam results. Both Dr. Brett and his brother Dr. Ryann Donaldson are always very helpful and professional. Great follow up on appointments, contacts, everything - highly recommended!

We were new to the Katy area and my daughter needed an eye appointment so that she could get her contact prescription refilled.
Dr. Donaldsons staff was so nice, they squeezed us in so she could get her contacts.
The actual exam did not take long at all, but the wait sure did. This was probably because they squeezed us in.
When she went to pick up her contacts the following week, they gave us a form for a rebate and some other free stuff.

PROS: great central locations
CONS: may have to wait awhile
