REALITY; can't beat the location hands down however the place is very poorly managed, left dirty, things falling apart, apartments not kept up to date, failing plumbing, broken chairs, mold, mildew, no monitoring, broken security system,

I was pretty shocked at the quality of the wines served. Um, not good. I'm pulling for the place, I really am, but my God. And the wine flights should be served in thimbles.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED wine tasting!!! THE WINES ARE AMAZING!! I purchased all 8 wines for $12, and I got 2 for free. After trying all 10 wines, I decided to join the wine club!!! My tasting was free since I joined the wine club (for free.) I purchased 3 bottles on the spot. Since visiting Rosenthal, I have received 2 bottles at my house and they are delicious!!! This winery is NOT a SCAM as a previous reviewer listed. They tell you when you walk in the pricing...it was my first time there and I asked the price before consuming anything so I knew what I was agreeing to pay for. I can't wait to go back to this winery for wine tasting!!!!!!!!

We have so few tasting rooms in LA county, why not enjoy sipping a glass of wine and looking at the ocean at the same time! Also the wine is so good. We need to thank the Rosenthal Winery for giving us this wonderful place.
5If you find yourself wondering what to do this weekend I would suggest a trip to Rosenthal. I was first introduced to their wines in the UCLA Vintage program. But at that time they were not open to the public. Early in 2006 they opened this tasting room. I was so excited I dragged my poor husband and promptly joined the wine club! :-)Just north of the Pepperdine campus on the right side of PCH in Malibu, the tasting room is very small but if you like big reds any wait you might have will be well worth it. The Rosenthal estate where the grapes are grown is in Malibu Canyon a short distance from this tasting room. I would also recommend their wines as interesting and affordable gift ideas if you are looking for some predictably good wines this holiday season!
PROS: Wonderful Wines
CONS: Can be hard to find. Look for the sandwhich board that says Wine Tasting
