The owner told me what no other AC guy would, that units dont need annual service and as log as you keep the coils clean and filters cleaned, you are good to go. And you should never lose freon unless you have a real problem.

Wife had my checkbook and they had no problem leaving me an invoice to mail a check later.

I contacted Mason Mechanical Heating after having problems with another company. They installed a new capacitor, rechecked all the settings from the previous HVAC company and corrected their errors. I thoroughly respect the honesty, promptness and knowledge of the technician. It is 110 degrees out. A/C is blowing hot air. I call Mason Mechanical Heating and less than two hours later the technician shows up! He diagnosed the problem in less than a minute AMAZING HONEST service!

No Games, Gimmicks or Ridiculous Fees the owner of Mason Mechanical Heating & Cooling was Honest and Confident in his work . He repaired the Unit in a timely manner and gave me some new air filters and some tips on how to optimize my HVAC use and possibly save some money on power bills and costly repairs in future. etc.. In the end I am glad that I recommend them to all my friends and family.

I spoke to a very nice lady and she gave me a time frame. She sent the technician who is the actual owner of the company and knew exactly what he was doing and within 20 minutes my heater was fixed! It is nice to deal with a family owned business.

I called for a second opinion after I was told I needed a new a/c unit for $6000. Mason Mechanical Heating & Cooling came out and gave me a free second opinion. They looked at my unit and explained I only needed to replace condensor fan motor. My unit is only 6 years old and is in great working condition except for the condensor fan motor. It took the technicians less than 30 minutes to change the motor and I definitely saved lots of money!!! Those big companies out there only want to sell you a new unit for big profit. Mason Mechanical Heating & Cooling is a smaller company and family owned and they are not out to rob people. Everybody was nice and Brigitte was pleasant on the phone. We shopped with 3 different companies that all had great marks w/ the BBB. Mason stood out as the best choice for a few reasons. First, their ""comfort consultant"" Dale was the most thorough & genuine salesperson we had over. He took our square footage, inspected the attic & asked us what was important to us, then offered a variety of options for our AC needs & budget. He was the most expedient in sending us a written proposal. He was the only one who offered us the free use of a portable AC unit until they could get the job done (which was only a couple days vs the ""next week sometime"" that the other companies were telling us) They also included a yrs worth of filters w/ the job and 2 follow up inspections of the new unit (one within a week of installation where Dale brought a different tech w/ him to double check the insallers work & a second one will happen in 6 months to make sure everything is still running fine) Not to mention they were very reasonabley priced compared to the other companies. Oh, and I certainly can't forget to mention that each of the service men who came to our house were exceptionally friendly & polite. I found them on the BBB website and noted they had 0 complaints in the last 3 yrs. (which is as far back as you can see on the website) Several of the bigger name companies that boast ""A+"" ratings w/ the BBB still had upwards of 40 complaints--they just resolved them to the BBB satisfaction after the fact. But think about how ticked a person has to be in the first place to go to the BBB. \r\nWe were nervous about the large expense at first, but by the time we shopped around we were confident that we were making the right choice with Mason Mechanical.
