I can't figure out how to give no stars, but this place-- LATELY -- doesn't deserve one star.

It's pretty clear the only previous review for this particular pharmacy is a generic one, applying to all of CVS. Well, though we live in Houston, we've gotten prescriptions filled in New York City and Corpus Christ. The latter was pretty good. The former seems to have not been completely candid about the availability of a certain medication. I assume it's because they didn't have the "unavailable" product in stock, on their shelf, and wanted me to buy what they did have. Oh, well. I got the meds, our trip was otherwise great, and those things happen.

But, Alief? My wife has been taking her prescriptions to the 12260 Bellaire location for many years. For the most part, I've been okay with that and haven't had problems, when I went to pick things up for her.

October, 2010 has been a Halloween nightmare. Their auto-refill service invariably results in a lot of robo-calls, closely spaced together. It's almost impossible to get to the store and pick up the medicine quckly enough to keep them from calling again.

Or, like Halloween Sunday, many times in less than an hour. Even though I told them NOT to call, on Friday.

My wife has been sick for several days, and having the phone ring is just additional irritation and disturbance when she's trying to sleep, or simply rest.

Now, none of this would have happened if CVS had honored her request not to call about refills -- ever. Or, after they called last Sunday and Monday, if they had any refills ready when I went to pick them up. Or, if they had done refills as they said they would, while I was there that time. In order for me to pick them up on my second trip. No. Many calls and many trips -- and no ready refills, up until now. I dread the trip I'm about to make.

Like I said, Really Terrible Service, LATELY. I just hope they actually fill the prescriptions right, and don't kill my wife.
