Cauley Square Tea Room

DO NOT EAT ANYTHING HERE!!! It started off with me personally seeing one of the kitchen helpers flush the toilet and leave straight to the kitchen without washing his hands. DISGUSTING!!! DO NOT EAT ANYTHING HERE!!! Next they brought my son's overcooked steak tidbits platter to him with a long black hair wrapped around his french fries. YUCH!!! I got up and walked to the kitchen and saw one lady with her black hair very scantily covered with her net. DO NOT EAT ANYTHING HERE!!! To make matters worse both the Turkey Reuben and BLT were served with one slice of meat on each sandwich. But wait! There is more. It was my mom's birthday so we had to at least get a slice of chocolate cake for her so we went to the dessert table and saw a fly buzzing around inside the cake dome with the cake. DO NOT EAT ANYTHING HERE!!! I will be reporting this place to the Health Department on Monday. The ONLY good thing here is the decor and music. LOOK but DO NOT EAT ANYTHING HERE!!!
I informed the manager of all this and he was totally nonchalant about it all and still presented us with a full demand for the food prices. It was the worst spent $90 ever in my life. DO NOT EAT ANYTHING HERE!!!

Saw a story about the Meditation Garden in Community
Newspapers Palmetto Bay and took my children over and
had lunch at the Chalet and it was all wonderful as the
article said. I never knew it was there it is so hidden but
we enjoyed our afternoon and went to all the shops and
will go back often.

The Tea Room at Cauley Square is the most unique dining
experience in Miami Dade County and The Village Chalet
is excellent with live jazz on the weekends. Everyone is
friendly and the public relations for that place is outstanding.
It shows. Keep shining. No experience like it. A hidden
treasure. You gotta look to find it as it is hidden and maybe
that's what makes it so great!
