The service was ok. The bartender was smiley and helpful and gave good recommendations, but he was busy and it took a while for him to come back. We went there for trivia, which had some good questions, but you could never hear them. They had the music blaring and the dude didn't speak clearly. They also do a weird scoring system where you have to come back each week to actually make any progress. I will probably not be going back there for trivia, but maybe just for drinking, and even then only if I was in the area.

Union Jack's is a great place to go - whether you want to get a quick drink after work, eat a nice dinner, or go out dancing on the weekends. I've gone there a few times for after-work drinks with my coworkers. They have half-priced appetizers and special deals on some beers. The burgers are also very good. If you go earlier in the evening, the setting is pretty quiet and not over crowded. However, I have also been to Union Jack's on a Saturday night, when it was packed full of people, had loud music playing and people dancing. That was very fun. So, no matter which atmosphere you want in a pub, Union Jack's probably offers it.
