I would definitely recommend cbc education for parents of children with autism. Their therapists are so caring; they give you so much help when it comes to behavioral issues. my son recently stopped having behavior therapy with them, and let me say this, i don't know what i woul've done if it weren't for their help. thanks mr. alex sandoval for everything!

I rely on insiderpages for lots of different recommendations. But I've found that there are virtually no listings that help parents of children with Special Needs. So I wanted to share with you some of my personal recommendations.
My two young sons both have Autism and are clients of Eastern Los Angeles Regional Center. I was referred to CBC Education by my Service Coordinator at ELARC. I didn't know much about the agency but had heard some favorable things from my support group parents.
Well I am so glad that I selected CBC. The staff from the front office on up to the administrators have been wonderful. They have helped my two boys more than I possibly could have imagined. We began with in home Applied Behavior Analysis with Discrete Trial, paid for by regional center. They learned a ton of information and also began to speak using simple sentences. But I still felt like something was missing.
Like a godsend, CBC Education then began their Social and Play Skills Center in Alhambra. There my kids get to be kids. They laugh, play, and socialize with the help of their play therapists. It's great. Sessions are after school and broken down into three periods, so that time is spent on individual play, small group play, and sensory play. The center reminds me of the OT clinic we used to attend. They have an OT swing, trampoline, bouncy house, and lots of other great therapy toys that I could never afford. This is also paid for by reigonal center.
We've also had great success with Justine Sherman and Associates in Sierra Madre for Speech Language Therapy. Justine is fantastic.
