Generous portions, never waited more than a min or two for a drink. The atmosphere is fun and the waitress was very friendly. Fresh italian food and I recommend the Chicken canneloni. Delicious.

Buca di Beppo is a great restaurant. The portion sizes are huge. Usually a wait to get in. Over the tope in Italian decorations - so much like East Coast Italian eating, you could think you are in Little Italy, New York. I've been to the West and the East locations and both are great!

Buca di Beppo is always good but my favorite thing to do there is just get a variety of things when I go with my family or with friends because that way you can try some of their awesome lasagna but you can also get their spaghetti. They aren't really known for their pizza but still that's also never a bad choice.

Every time we've gone to Buca di Pepo the food has been great...it's great to go to with a group of friends and order everything family style. I've never gone with just two people...but the group atmosphere is always a blast!

I took my family to Buca di Beppo to try something new and different. We were not even close to impressed. This is the Walmart of restaurants. You order in bulk and share. It was cold and didn't taste good and the meatballs we ordered with the spaghetti were raw in the middle. We won't return.

The food was very good small portion serves 2-3 people. Had the eggplant parmesian it was a little too crispy on the edges and it could have been warmer but with these kingsize portions there is plenty to take home to reheat. The side dish of spaghetti was enormous and likewise there was some to take home.
PROS: Large portions & friendly atmosphere
CONS: Food could have been hotter, heat wise

My wife and I went to the Buca Di Beppo to have a good spaghetti and meatballs. To our surprise the spagheti was undercooked and the meatballs could be shot through a cannon. You could hardly cut them with a knife. Sorry 2 stars

Wow am I impressed! The food was the best and the service was even better. Ask for the table by the kitchen when you make reservations,if you like being the center of attention!

This is a GREAT place for a family gathering! Huge, colorful rooms with a mix of travel posters, old photos, and just generally kitch-y artifacts - a lot to look at and keep the kids busy! The food is served family style, and the portions are huge. My only warning is don't order too much! Those take home bags are heavy :)
PROS: Really good food, huge portions, great prices
CONS: Make a reservation, especially on the weekend! The bar's too small.

We went to Buca Di Beppo for my 30th Birthday and it was our first visit to the restaurant. They take you through the kitchen area before seating you. The food was great and the service was excellent. If you have left overs and you will its good reheated in the microwave the next day. Even the kids loved it!
PROS: You get more than enough food for your money.
CONS: Not enough room in our fridge to store leftovers.

Buca Di Beppo offers an old-world feel. It's unique and fun atmopshere, combined with excellent food makes it a perfect resturant to a large party or an intimate date. I received terrible service at this location during my most recent trip in June of 2005. I would likely not return to this location, but would try others in the chain.
PROS: Great atmosphere, Amazing food
CONS: Terrible service at this location on last visit.

I had no idea that Buca di Beppo existed outside of downtown San Francisco, so I practically cried when I passed one, ON MY WAY HOME. With meatballs the size of Patton Manning's freakishly large head, and wonderful ambience, Buca on W. Lake Mead gives the out of towner the guarantee of tasty pastas and overly buttery breads. Their garlic bread with its slices of fresh garlic, remains the best around. My fiance sinks through the layers of cheesy lasagna goodness without speaking...except a few satisfied moans and grunts. Although the place sometimes emits a less than pleasant olfactory experience (we still can't quite figure out why it sometimes smells like backed up pipes) it makes up in clean, prompt and remarkably afford able experience. One other thing that Buca offers is privacy-from parties to intimate...they provide the best booths, bar and private rooms in the area. hands down.
I live in Summerlin and I love to go to this restaurant with a large group. The portions are gigantic so you should plan on sharing with other family members or friends. The atmosphere is friendly and fun and I thought the food was pretty good.
mussels were excellent, try getting the 5L bottle of wine, you'll be surprised how economical it is!!
Great food, excellent atmosphere! Perfect for large family gatherings or just completely pigging out!
We were promptly seated. Then forgotten. After 15 minutes I went to the bar looking for the manager. We were promptly switched to another waite person who went above and beyond to serve us well. The manager offered us free appetizer or desert to appease us. Food was very quickly served, hot and up to the Buca standard that we know and love. Must have been a quirk in their system that day. We would still recommend this restaurant as one of our favs.
Pros: Good Food, Fun Atmosphere, Good Value
Cold food, bad service, impersonal. One of the worst in Las Vegas. Had to find server and asked to be served, had to ask for utensils, food came out sporadically, badly organized. Only bright spot was a personable busboy.
Pros: good bus boy
Cons: , bad service
You are guaranteed to overeat at this establishment. The portions are enormous. One order of pasta will feed, in most case, 6 people. The surroundings are festive and can get to be a bit loud. Due to the large protions, large groups tend to frequent it and they tend to be loud.
Pros: good dessert
Cons: noisy, crowded
Server recommended their "Buca Per Due". Presented nicely, came out hot and efficiently and was delicious! Tried the stuffed shells (they fix it with bits of spicey sausage) and veal. Their wine list was certainly adequate and we selected a nice bottle of Maestro Merlo ($25). Their desserts could feed at least 4 or 5 as could their salads. I feel you get good value as well as good food. Would definitely recommend this restaurant!
Pros: Efficient staff, good food, good value
Cons: staff use "you guys", wine glasses not used
food is good, ambiance is good and fun, servings are a bit huge but like having left overs.
Pros: good food, fun ambiance, good service
Cons: waiting is long, can be very noisy
I originally went to Buca's in St. Paul, MN. in 1999.
I thought it was the only Buca's and that I would probably never have the chance to have it again.
Then, while on the road at home, I saw one in Brea, CA., made a reservation and had dinner there that weekend. It was the same Buca's. Now, everywhere I go, I look for a buca's. Most recently in Las Vegas. I'm hooked on you Buca's
Pros: Food, Ambience, Inexpensive
Cons: Crowded all the time., Not open early enough
Crazy atmosphere, food is family style so large portions. Food itself is nothing more than average.
Been there twice and both times was disappointed with the quality of the food. I think people go for the large portions, but the food is not very good.
Cons: over priced, lacks taste, mediocre
Like to share or take a taste of everyone's plate? Then this is the place for you. Everything is served in a large portion like a family dinner.
The food is really good. The price is a little high but the quantity is super.
Cons: High pressure sales, Push food on you
The Las Vegas locals sure have an excellent restaurant to eat at!! Food, Food, and more food, You'll never go away hungry at Buca Di Beppo!! I wish they had a Buca di Beppo in Spokane, Washington!!
We so enjoyed the carefree atmospher, and the specialties of the house. Our friends were very impressed.
