EAT on Sunset provides really great service. The employees are really friendly and they are upscale but still feel neighborly. Lots of folks love the mac and cheese when they are not on a low carb diet.
5I frequent this restaurant a lot and have found the patio to most delightful and the staff is very attentive. The managers always make sure I'm well taken care which is very hospitable. If I could change one thing I would have them open at 11:30 opposed to 12:30.
4Cool location on Sunset- across from the old CBS building. A relatively new restaurant with a limited but very tasty menu. Everyone who works here seems almost excessively beautiful, which can be entertaining and weird at the same time. The perfect place for a "power" lunch with your agent.

The ambiance was great and the people I came with were great. I was not impressed by the food at all. My steak was so salty I had to drink 3 glasses of water with my meal just to choke it down. Luckily the price was pretty low.

Now, I know I went there on the Friday after Thanksgiving with a large party and a small baby, but I have to say I was a bit disappointed. The soup was cold, and the service was always playing catch-up. I looked over to the table to my left and the pasta that that man was eating was giant and beautiful, so I ordered it. He must have been an regular, because my serving was half that. It was delicious, and it was enough food, but still....
Even with my complaints, the oysters were excellent and the staff did seem to care. I'd like to go back and try it again.

At first sight, one would say this place looks as inviting and intriguing as it's counter-part Cafe Pinot in Downtown. Unfortunately, the similarities cease once you walk through the door.
Seating: We were seated on a bench seat elbow-to-elbow with two other parties (nice touch). We asked to be reseated, but the manager insisted there wasn't anything else available (oh, except for the 6 other tables inside and out on the patio).
Service: Our waiter was nice, but definitely uninterested, once we received our food he didn't return until it was time to pay.
Food: I ordered a ribeye steak and asked for it rare. When the food came out it was about 1/4 inch thick and close to medium-well (low quality meat). Everything was over salted as well. Not impressed.
Overall: Save your $$$, there are much better places for half the cost.
