Now, I know I went there on the Friday after Thanksgiving with a large party and a small baby, but I have to say I was a bit disappointed. The soup was cold, and the service was always playing catch-up. I looked over to the table to my left and the pasta that that man was eating was giant and beautiful, so I ordered it. He must have been an regular, because my serving was half that. It was delicious, and it was enough food, but still....

Even with my complaints, the oysters were excellent and the staff did seem to care. I'd like to go back and try it again.

At first sight, one would say this place looks as inviting and intriguing as it's counter-part Cafe Pinot in Downtown. Unfortunately, the similarities cease once you walk through the door.

Seating: We were seated on a bench seat elbow-to-elbow with two other parties (nice touch). We asked to be reseated, but the manager insisted there wasn't anything else available (oh, except for the 6 other tables inside and out on the patio).

Service: Our waiter was nice, but definitely uninterested, once we received our food he didn't return until it was time to pay.

Food: I ordered a ribeye steak and asked for it rare. When the food came out it was about 1/4 inch thick and close to medium-well (low quality meat). Everything was over salted as well. Not impressed.

Overall: Save your $$$, there are much better places for half the cost.
