Dr. Melinda Hakim did a glaucoma laser procedure on me called SLT. She achieved amazing results. My eye pressure responded beautifully. I had no down time. The procedure was quick and painless. She is one of my favorite eye doctors and I trust her with my eyes and my whole family's eyes.

Dr. Hakim evaluated a stye I had on my right upper eyelid. She drained the stye, and the next day, the stye was gone. No bruising, no swelling. You couldn't even tell I had it before. I really appreciate that she was so caring, competent, and made me feel comfortable during the procedure. I would definitely recommend her.

I went to Dr. Melinda Hakim for a glaucoma evaluation for the first time three years ago. Two doctors I saw before told me I needed surgery and that even with the surgery, there was a high probability that I would lose vision within the year. Dr. Hakim offered me a laser treatment and an eye drop which have controlled my glaucoma perfectly. Three years later, I have not lost any vision (in fact it is better with my new glasses). Dr. Hakim will give you all the options and only recommend surgery when it is absolutely necessary. People cannot believe how I have not lost vision and how my eye pressure is so good. Dr. Hakim will listen to you and will do whatever it takes to treat your condition. She will never push you to do unnecessary procedures and will take the time to explain everything about your eye condition.

Superior eye doctor. I am legally blind in the left eye (primary optic atrophy) from a bicycle accident at age 10. Dr. Hakim performed one of the most thorough eye examinations I have ever had.

In addition, she did not rush the examination, asked extensive questions, and listened to my concerns.
