I felt compelled to write and let everyone know about a terrible experience I had with Tweedy Plumbing. We had actually used them before and had a decent experience. Of course they push you to do the camera in the line every time they come out, but that's expected as its how they make money selling a somewhat worthless service. Other than that, they got the job done. Well, this time they did a horrible job. They even refused to recaulk the toilet base after they puled it, telling me it would be an additional charge. They tried to convince us that our line had collapsed and that they needed to do a saw cut. We refused then and asked them to continue trying the snake. To the plumbers surprise, after another 15 minutes of snaking, he claimed he unclogged it. We said our good byes and he left. Not one our later, I went to clean the filthy shower where the water had backed up originally, and found the water would not drain. I couldn't believe it. He had neglected to test the shower where the back up was and only tested the toilet. Obviously, I called Tweedy back the next day, explained what had happened, and they agreed to send out the plumber. When he got here at the end of the following day, he was all attitude and told me that there would be an additional charge. I couldn't believe this guy. I told him I refused to pay again for a job done incorrectly the first time around. He begrudgingly snaked the shower and fixed the clog within 20 min. He continued to be rude and even made me feel a little uncomfortable as a woman alone in my home. Luckily, my husband came home and dealt with him at that point. With all that had happened, I decided to contact the owner of the company to let him know what had transpired. Well, to my shock he did not care at all and told me that they should have billed me again. He was completely rude, and talked over me the entire call. He was the owners son, and obviously someone who cares nothing about clients as he most likely was not the one to actually built the business and as such, doesn't understand a retail business. Sorry for the novel, but I thought people out there should know, as there are other good options.
