I ate here during happy hour with two co-workers in May 2010 before heading out to a movie. Happy Hours on the weekdays are from 2-6pm with most items on their bar menu being 50% off. We ordered meat candy (roasted dates wrapped in bacon and regianno) which was just okay. We also ordered the olives and almonds and for $2.50 we got too many olives for the three of us to finish that one of us ended up taking a good portion of it home. The herb fries with roasted garlic aioli were great and I couldn't get enough of them.

They have white linen on the tables and I almost felt underdressed. I'd definately go back!

Easily one of the best restaurants in Tacoma - it can hold its own against any place in Seattle, Portland, or San Francisco. A great place that gives you 5 star service and the food to match.\r

When I have friends coming into town I take them only one place: Pacific Grill.

It's locally owned and is obviously the passion of its owners. The menu is always changing and is creative while still being accessible and delicious.

Good food but slow service; restaurant was not busy and food took forever; meat was RAW and undercooked for 'medium' ordered steak; head up to Stanley's instead for far better service and ambiance for about the same priced food!!

Pacific Grill writes...
In the heart of Tacoma's reborn downtown, Pacific Grill is an inviting living room, serving classic steaks, chops and succulent seafood, all in the warmth of a gracefully restored turn-of-the-century building. They forgot to mention that the prices are extremely high and there is nothing special about the food except that someone else is cooking besides me. Not one of my favorites.

This place is perfect cause you can come here for a nice, romantic dinner. I came here on a date and had an amazing steak salad that I still dream about.

However, it is expensive, so if you want to enjoy the amazing food and not break the bank, they have a great happy hour where you can get bar food for under ten bucks.

Can't loose!
