Walked into the store to comparison shop, walked out with a new, CUSTOM sofa set. I had originally assumed that the word "Custom" meant "Expensive" but I was wrong!

Upon moving into my new house I realized my old furniture no longer matched my new home. It was time go shopping. At the Seldens showroom I found a large variety of styles to choose from. Overwhelmed with the daunting task of designing an entire house I asked for help. I was so pleased to find out that Seldens is staffed with professional designers, they came to home and created a plan around my tastes and my families needs.

When the furniture arrived I was so pleased. Seldens truly turned my house into a home! The professional staff will keep me coming back again and again.I wish all my shopping experiences were like this one.

I have been shopping at Selden's for years. They are professional and very friendly. The receptionist even remembers me when I come in from time to time. They have a beautiful selection, I always manage to find something to add to my home. My designer is so helpful, but never pushy. She lets me know when ever there is a sale going on or if there is something special happening at the store. I even met the Keno brothers from the Antique Road Show at their store last October. I will always shop with them.

When I visited this place while looking to furnish my new home, I encountered ugly furniture, poor selection, and rude and uninformed sales people who were not willing to do any work.

In spite of that, I placed an order, letting them know I might want to cancel part of it. I was told there would be a 30% restocking fee on the items I cancelled. When I called to let them know that I wanted to change the order and I would pay the restocking fee on the parts of the order I was cancelling, I was told that I could not do so, I either had to take it all or none of it.

I wonder if they are in financial trouble? Why else would they try to force me to buy furniture I didn't want? Good customer service is service that makes customers feel good about the establishment. There aren't enough words to say how bad this place is.

Other furniture stores (Crate and Barrel and Dania) charge either no restocking fees or 10% restocking fees. The other stores are much more flexible with returns and provide a much higher quality of service as well as a better product at a better price.

I highly recommend that you shop elswhere, even if it means going to Seattle.

We placed a custom order that was supposed to take 6-8 weeks. We had to call several times to check up on the order and finally received it after more than 12 weeks. The sales rep did not seem to care after the order was placed.

Seldon's is a well-stocked furniture store with a large variety of stock. It carries many well-known brands. The staff is eager to help. The furniture is attractively displayed.

I like to go to Selden's to check out the latest in furniture. The staff is friendly, and the store has been around for a while. They have very nice quality furniture and the prices shows it. If you are looking for quality, go here. Nice place.
