Let's be honest, HEALTH CARE SUCKS!!! There used to be so many hospitals to choose from to receive care from. Now, it's either go to this hospital that's not very good or drive to the nice hospital which is not in your health care

This Friday evening, after lying flat on my back for a week with severe spine, hip, and leg pain, I started vomiting. I was referred by my doctor's office to go to the nearest hospital which was Swedish Covenant. No one identified themselves. The ER was not terribly busy. They were clearly annoyed with my occasional moans. They gave me an iv of something for pain and for nausea. They never explained what it was or what to expect. It was very hot spreading through my body. When the pain did not subside, they seemed annoyed, but added another dose. Within five minutes, they moved me to the ER hallway and told me I could go. I started to get up and fell over. My 71-year-old husband helped me into the waiting room where I started vomiting and fell again. Not one employee helped. When I asked an employee for help, she responded only if I wanted to be readmitted. I was in the hospital waiting room! When I asked her name, she threw the papers at me and stormed off. I struggled up and vomited again. Another employee said, "Don't worry, we can clean it up." Finally, as I waited on the floor in vomit, my husband got the car helped me to it. As most of us were all of the same race, I can only conclude that they had a problem with a 59-year-old blond who happened to be in severe pain. Hmmm...thought they were there to deal with folks in pain. Silly me.

I have numerous doctors at Swedish Covenant Hospital in different departments and they all have helped me deal with alot of issues. I would recommend any or all these doctors and the hospital.

This is a great hospital right near the Lincoln Park area. The hospital looks great right as you see it from the outside. It is large and looks very clean. Inside, it is much the same. The hospital is really clean, which is one thing that

Swedish Covenant Hospital is a bright and ever-growing facility around California and Foster. My relatives all go to this hospital if necessary and their regular doctors are affiliated with it as well so it is convenient. If you are stuck

We've been to the emergency room here twice - once for asthma related problems, once when my son broke his nose. They got us in quickly and took good care of my family. They helped us know what steps to take next and put us at ease. I also
