Being away from home at UCSD is tough. No home cooked meals, so Latin Chef was great for what I've been missing. Lomo Saltado is my favorite, and it reminded me of home. The environment felt warm and homey, and the service was great. Of course the waitress/hostess spoke Spanish. I high recommended eating here.

If you haven't tried Peruvian food yet, you've let yourself down. This is a great authentic restaurant in the heart of PB. They opened about a year ago and have been going strong since. Peruvian food is a great fusion of some of the best cuisines from around the world. Try the Lomo Saltado when you go there. The prices are reasonable and the portions are perfect. Not ridiculous like Cheesecake Factory or small like a street taco. Don't forget to take to the owner Freddy. He's the hardest working guy I've met. He actually does all the shopping himself every morning, thats fresh cooking!
