Fabulous gelato! Try the limoncello. Delicious paninis. We enjoyed the chicken with hot peppers, gorgonzola and spinach. YIUM. Very affordable. Decor is fair, service is fine. Great affordable midweek datenight.

Calabria Mia opened last April downtown Somerville and offers a casual but unique dining experience. The decor provides a rustic, Italian, countryside feel. They offer tons of gormet pizza varieties including the Lorenzo (which is made with roasted chicken, fresh mozzerella, basil, and sundried tomatoes) as well as delicious paninis ranging from $5.50 to $7. They offer special deals (check out the board in front of the restaurant daily) on sandwich combos (like any panini, fries (or side salad), and large drink for $7.50) or pizza slices. Every Monday and Tuesday between 4 and 10 pm their large pizza is half price (so $5.50). They also have a dozen flavors of gelato every day, and I've liked every flavor I've tried. But my favorite has to be the Bacio one (which tastes like the silver-wrapped chocolate Baci Perugina candy, with the hazlenut center). I like that this is a pizza place that serves gelato because it's open later than most ice cream places and if you get the gelato don't be afraid to mix 2 flavors!
