American Trusted Movers Inc

I called American Trusted Movers after reading negative reviews about the company that I originally planned to use who were 30% cheaper but I didn't want to take a chance as they were late most of the time.
I called American Trusted Movers who said they had an opening at 9am. I told them I would take it and followed up in writing with the details. I then made calls to plan my day around this 9am pick up and a 10.30 delivery. I also sent in their form.

Denneil the administrator called and told me that she made a mistake and they could only pick up at 2pm. I told her that I couldn't do that but I would think about it..

I then received a call 30 minutes later from a person in their office telling me that they would be there at 9am. I said great and made all the appropriate arrangements to have someone there at 9am and for me to be at the other end at 10.30am. The next morning Daniell called and told me that she was sorry but they made a mistake and could not be there until 2pm. This was 1 hour before they were supposed to be there. In the meantime I had given away my bed and other furniture.

I could not find anyone to deliver on that short notice so Amerian Trusted Movers cost me my entire day which is at least four times the cost of the delivery!! Demniel told me that she was obligated to report all complaints to the owner who would contact me. I never heard from the owner or anyone after that. Their attitude must be sorry ... next. .. If it was me, I would say we will do this for free or some concession, but NOTHING!!

btw ..The movers arrived at 3 pm (an hour late). They were ok as movers although a piece of the bed frame was broken because they couldn't remember how it was supposed to go which means I now have to spend at least an hour and a half finding a replacement.

Bottom line: in spite of all the positive reviews which is why I used them in the first place I would not use them again nor would I recommend them. Successful companies deal with their mistakes and don't ignore them thinking they will just go away.

This moving company has been a nightmare!!!!!!!!!!!! I used this company because the other companies had more negative reviews than this one. You can bet that I will make sure everyone knows that this company is no different. They don't show up when they say they will. My furniture is broken, Items were delivered to people who live states away, my husband and I had to help because they showed up an hour before storage closed, we ended up with other peoples stuff and then ignored when asked for things to be made right. I have seen the value of customer service fail before but I thought these guys would be different. I am disgusted by the service and customer care. It has been almost two weeks and I am still waiting for my box that was lost and still waiting to hear from customer service about what they are going to do seeing as how my husband and I paid them to help us move and we had to end up being the movers. Not only that but we were insulted by the people of Enterprise van lines(who were contracted by american trusted even though I asked at the very begining if they contracted out and they said no) when he told us that the extra work my husband and I had to do is only worth 100 dollars. Times are hard enough right now due to the economy and I don't know about you but I don't have the time or money to have to figure out which boxes are missing, which boxes have broken items due to the horrible state in which they arrived, and when my broken furniture is going to be fixed. If I were you I would consider the moving companies with the other complaints because the reviews on this one seem to come from the people who work for them. I am not the only person who feels this way. The person who recieved my belongings also had a bad experience and is the only one who seems to care that my stuff is missing.

This is the best moving company out there! No one can honestly compete with this company. I have used a couple other local movers and no one compared to this company. They offered excellent rates and were professional.

Best company in California period! I tried them for a small house move and they were the best priced and were just completely awesome. They helped in wrapping and packaging. They also had an accurate quote for all their charges. I will use this company again in the future for sure.

I chose this company because they have so many positive reviews! I called them and the lady whom I spoke with calmed my nerves a ton.
