Exceptional, knowledgeable, trustworthy, the best mechanics
in the San Gabriel Valley. Steve, the manager, is patient and
accommodating and tells you what repairs need to be done.
He prints out an estimate for you to analyze so you are never
in the "dark" about what parts and labor will cost.

I've been going to Fremont and Purdon for about 4 years now, and have been very pleased with the pricing, the staff and quality of work. What's most important to me is knowing I can trust Rick and Steve to give me the honest answer on what's wrong with my car, without taking advantage of me. I used to price them out with auto dealerships and other repair facilities, and their prices are always much better. I really enjoy working with Steve and Rick...they're very kind and pleasant to work with. They've always been very accommodating, providing rides, staying late when I'm running behind to pick up my car, etc. The turn around time is also great! I highly recommend Fremont and Purdon!

I have been going to Fremont & Purdon for many years now and even though I live in Hollywood I trek out to Pasadena because they take such good care of me. When I got into a bad fender bender and busted the entire front end of my car, including the radiator they had just replaced weeks before, Fremont had my back. My five year history of car repair records. They helped me convince the insurance that my car wasn't totaled. Plus they help fix my subaru and really work on what needs to get fixed, let me know what is coming up and about how long I have before I should bring it back by. They rock! Best Mechanic I have had ever!!!

It's really hard to find an honest mechanic but I think I've finally found one! There have been times when I took my car to the dealership and then to this place and they are always so much cheaper so I know I'm not being robbed. They are also willing to do some small services for no charge like sticking on my license plate or something. Sometimes they'll even loan you a car for free so you don't have to spend money on a rental. I feel like they've saved me a lot of money!

Fremont was a referral from a friend in the area. My car broke down in Pasadena, I'm new in the area. My friend takes her car there and I had my Honda towed in. Steve was the guy who took care of me. I left my car and in 1 1/2 hour they diagnosed it and returned my car back to me to go home. I price checked them and they were very fair and explained to me what failed and why. That is all I can ask as a women. Thank you Steve

My car works perfectly and they even gave me tons of extras.There Engine mechanic is outstanding with years and years of experience. I would recommend them to anyone that wants excellent service but, doesn't want to spend tons of money for no reason.They highly exceeded my expectations. Trust me, I am really hard to deal with.

This shop is the best by far that I have seen. The thing is they have everything I look for in a shop. 1) knowledgeable 2) courteous 3) very professional 4) give rides 5) fair price 6) clean... shall i go on. I recommend them to everyone.

Everytime I bring my car to Steave or Eddie they provide excellent service. I wish all mechanics were as trustworthy as Fremont & Purdon Inc. It is always a pleasure making business with them.

I was recommended by a close friend. I took my car to several shops that did unnecessary repairs to my car. Several thousand dollars later. Decided to take my BMW to F&P. Boy am I glad I found these guys. They found the problem and fixed it the same day. I had bounced around several shops and dealers for the last 6 months. And these guys found and fixed the problem. I would recommend them to anyone!

We've found them to be helpful and honest over the years. We own 2 trucks and a Jeep Cherokee. The have fixed our brakes, exhaust, oxygen sensor and a few minor things. Their prices are fair (not cheap) and they stand behind their work.

I've been taking my car to F&P for 20 yrs. They are honest, professional and go the extra mile- they will give a loaner if available, drop or pick you up, and are always there in a crisis.
Best of all they are honest And quick. Hard to figure out b/c they are always busy - but I've rarely waited long for my car.
All the stories I hear about mechanics, I'm relieved I don't have to worry. Its great to have an honest competent mechanics that you know you can count on when you have car problems.

We had major engine failure, and took the car to F&P. They were very honest and open about all of our options. They did not push us to make a decision either way. Eventually we had them rebuild the 1997 Audi a6 engine, which they did with a 3-year warranty. It seems to run well, and they seem to be competent, friendly and professional.

I saw Fremont & Purdon reviewed on Insider Pages and I needed my brake pads replaced so I figured I'd give them a try. While replacing brake pads is no big deal I've got to say that I was very impressed with how well they treated me. When I dropped my car off they gave me a ride back to my office. They were very polite, almost like a hotel staff or a waiter at a fancy restaurant. I would use them again in heart beat. Ask for Dean.

Fremont & Purdon has provided excellent service to our 1994 Mazda MPV. They repaired the brakes and valve lifters about 3000 miles ago. We've experienced no problems with their work. I would rate them 5 stars but they charge only slightly less than dealer estimates for the same work. Of course, quality costs more.

I have been going to Premont & Purdon for a few years. They are wonderful. They are very honest and reliable. You can take your car in anytime and they will try their best to give it back to you that day. Being a women, it is great to find a place to take your car that doesn't try to fix things that dont need fixing. Steve and Dean are the best!
