We called Fast Water Heater to find why our water heater would regularly release water through the pressure release valve. We needed our water heater expansion tank replaced.
To reduce costs of heating water we chose to install a tankless/hybrid water heater. The flow valve failed in a 10 da. Fast water heater has done remedial help and repair promptly. Fast Water Heater assures us we have a good product that will last well. We are glad we chose Fast Water Heater . Lloyd Piper

Tim, the technician was fantastic. His service was great. He called to say he would be late because he was sent to the wrong store to pick up the water heater. Okay I'm a geezer that likes to "do-it-myself". However, when realizing that my water heater ( WH ) had to be replaced, the idea of laboring in a cold 30 degree garage and having to deal with the fact that "She-who-must-be-obeyed" would not be happy with 2 days of ice cold showers in the wee hours of the morn. That's when I got up at the crack of dawn and called the Home Depot Installation Service "Hot" Line.
The folks that run the service for Home Depot ( and others ) is FAST Water Heater Company, a national firm that provides service and installations. My appointment rep, Ryan, made it very easy for me to set up a tech to come to the home that morning.
He explained the costs and checked availability of the new WH. I choose the WH off the Home Depot Website. Ryan told me that they could take care of everything.

The Tech showed up 1/2 hour early! He introduced himself as, Donny. Then greeted me by using my name, a smile and a hand shake. Donny inspected my WH and we went over some options on equipment. Very reasonable, no hype, no pressure up-sale, just choices for improvements. I made some optional choices and then Donny went to work. Quickly and neatly, Donny had the unit installed in about 40 minutes. Tested and inspected...all went well. I can give a FIVE STAR recommendation to FAST Water Heater Company for a great job and keeping me out in the "cold water " with the little lady of the house!

I bought a replacement hot water heater (a Kenmore) from Sears, and Fast Water Heater was contracted to install it. Kevin arrived on time and completely prepared. He explained what he needed to do to bring the new heater up to code and what it would cost before he began. The new heater wasn't an exact fit, but Kevin had no problem resizing the piping after he brought the new heater downstairs. He explained each step, and didn't mind a nosy old lady asking questions. I will certainly call Fast Water Heater again when I need a plumber!!

When my water heater began leaking I noted that FWHC, sixteen years earlier, was the installer on the original construction. When contacting FWHC I was provided with information on required upgrades and authorized replacement. I was very pleased with the efficiency and professionalism of the installation and would not hesitate to recommend FWHC.

My water heater needed to be replaced as it was draining out and soaking the floors. Yikes. I was extremely stressed. Home Depot was contacted and Fast Water Heater Co was subcontracted.
Kevin arrived on time, he quoted me a prices after looking over the situation. Then he and the company worked with my limited income and brought the his estimate down to $1, 007.00. Huge relief. I would be making payments and had to keep my budget in line.
I now have a new water heater with a 12 year warranty. I was surprised how easily things were taken care. Keven brought everything up to current code requirements, put in a pan, & emergency run off hoses, etc. He answered all my questions, cleaned up his work area and took away my old water heater.

I would highly reccomend this company and their representatives if you want quality workmanship. Kevin arrived on time for the appointment, the job was done diligently and professionally. I also found out that they have excellent customer service. I truly felt like a valued customer.

I was looking for an affordable Energy Star gas water heater. I called several places, and Fast was very clear on the phone about the price, difference in prices by efficiency, and, after I asked, things that might increase the cost. Their price was by far the best for an Energy Star gas water heater.

At the house they proposed a pressure reduction valve and overflow tank, which would have added several hundred dollars. When I said I didn't have leaks in 23 years with my previous water heater, they didn't push hard but dropped it.

They came when they said, with the right water heater on the truck, they told me everything about equipment and charges upfront, did what they said, were done in a little over an hour. A very positive and smooth experience.

Very solid effort by this business. I paid for a water heater through Sears online, and Sears subcontracted the installation to Fast Water Heater Co. Fast contacted me several days ahead of time to ensure I had everything arranged. This was a critical step which led to some necessary electrical work ahead of the installation date to ensure everything would go smoothly. Only negative was getting a call late the night prior to the installation and them switching the install time by 2 hrs due to a worker that called in sick. Installation itself was handled expertly by a lone employee, Ian. I was surprised only one installer came out, as the new unit was heavy and required some tight maneuvering up and down basement stairs. However, Ian handled everything well and hooked up the new hybrid GE Geospring without a glitch.

After visiting Home Depot on Tuesday evening Tim from Fast Water Heater was at the door the next morning at 9:44 am. In two hours Tim replaced the old water heater with a new one. He explained all the details and did an excelent job in removing the old water heater and instaling the new one. Fast service and thorough job were highly appreciated!

I had to call this company 5 times before I heard anything back. I also was never called in advance and they DO NOT FOLLOW Oregon state plumbing codes. The "Technician" ( A guy with no experience or certifications ) blew main on the breaker because he didn't know anything about not touching a power line to a ground. I would much rather spend a couple more dollars and get someone who knows what they are doing. All in all DO NOT use them no matter what.

Just had a spiffy new Energy Star water heater installed and was very pleased with this company. In particular, I thought the woman who initially answered the phone was really thorough in answering my questions and making the process smooth and easy. I wasn't prepared to replace the whole water heater until I learned that my 8 year old unit wasn't worth repairing, so I wasn't exactly an easy sell. The installer was great too.
By the way, this company offers a 15 year warranty on my water heater that seemed above and beyond industry standard.

Their name says it all. They are fast. They were able to schedule an appointment for me the very next day. They removed my water heater and installed a new one with safety straps, drain pan and all new hoses in under 1 1/2 hours. I needed to be a little more direct in my dealings with my repairman. I asked to do the earthquake straps myself but he put them on the work order and I just let him, then he used my hoses that I had purchased instead of using theirs but I paid the same amount as if they had supplied them. These were not his issues but mine and I should have been more direct. I would call them again if I needed more work done.

Fast Water Heater Co. did a very satisfactory job in installing a new water heater in our home.
-They came out and did the job on the same day that they were called.
-The technician was knowledgeable, fast , and efficient.
-The technician saved us $80 from the original estimate by making due with the existing exhaust vent tubing (for a gas water heater).
I was quite pleased with the overall project.

I purchased an electric hot water heater with a 9 year warranty through Home Depot, who contracts with Fast Water Heater Company for installation. The installer clearly explained the reason for need for me to purchase several upgrades - most of which were due to changes in codes since the installation of the previous water heater. He never pressured me to purchase several other upgrades that were not related to code changes. The total cost was $1200.00.

The installer worked efficiently and quickly, leaving no mess and taking good care not to damage the wood floor, since the water heater is located in a closet in the house.

I gave the installer a 10 out of 10 rating.

This Summer, we had a problem in our gas water heater which was old and slow in heating the water. SoI looked around and found Fast Water Heater Company. I called the company and their people were very professional. They were very patient to answer all of my questions, and quickly gave me the estimation, and even gave me the options for chosing a conventional gas heater or an Energy Star high efficient gas water heater. They offered me a promotion for an Energy Star with a cost of conventional but more efficient, even I was not aware of the promotion going on . Thanks for the best offer. We delighted to have our old water heater replaced by the Energy Star, which made our whole family happy.

Contacted through Home Depot Installation line. Rep suggested an alternative brand to the Heat Pump Hybrid Water Heater I wanted. Better energy co-efficiency rating (2.35 vs 2.0), price INCLUDED normal installation, and saved me around $300 overall.
Installer came out next day and ahead of schedule. Very friendly and professional. Completed installation within 2 hours, and close to estimate.
Very Highly Recommended!

Our gas water heater needed replaced. We called several places and none were able to offer us estimates over the phone or bring in the water heater the next day - except Fast Water Heater Company! They contract through Home Depot, so you know you have Home Depot's warranty backing you up. I highly reccomend Fast Water Heater Company. Our hot water heater stopped working all of a sudden after ten years use without a problem. Fast Water Heater came and diagnosed the problem promptly and called an electrician for us who fixed the electrical problem. We were only charged for a service call and no more.

One morning our water heater stopped working. I called the company that installed the water heater three years previously. They Made a repair and charged me a fortune . The repair did not work and they wanted to charge more to install another inferior water heater. I called six other plumbers before calling Fast water heater company. They came out the same day and installed a energy eff. water heater heater. With the rebates It was cheaper. The service was great. Very satisfied with the new heater.

I noticed my water heater was leaking and discovered I needed a new water heater fast. We purchased a new water heater at Home Depot, who recommended Fast Water Heater Company. I was thinking I could do the install myself to save some money and to get the job done quickly. Im a bit nervous when it comes to dealing with the natural gas hookups so decided to have the work done by Fast Water Heater Company. Im sure glad I did. I call Fast Water Heater Company and was surprised to learn they could come out the very next day which was a Sunday!

Ian, the tech arrive on time (rare these days) and surveyed the install job. He gave me a honest appraisal of the true cost of the job, which was not what I was original lead to believe by Home Depot. He didnt try to push the extras which I greatly appreciated. Once I agreement to an estimate; he got right to work as I cleaned my garage. Mostly I watch him, learning new pluming techniques I was unaware of. Job was done in 2 hours, allowing me to go watch my son play in Hoopla.

I got my new water heater install fast, on a Sunday by a very professional and friendly technician. Ian got the job done for $30 dollars less than the he had quoted by some reengineering of the existing vent work. Im very satisfied with the hot water heater install and will recommend Fast Water Heater Company to all my friends and relatives. Thank you FAST Water Heater Company.

We received info about energy efficient waster heaters from NW Natural Gas. We contacted the gas company and soon received a call from Fast water heaters. We had the opportunity to work with Fast Water Heater when our old water heater decided to stop working on us (Springfield OR). We ordered a new one through Home Depot and Fast Water Heater provided the service.
They came out at the time we agreed on, on time. We went over the details (additional costs etc etc) before starting the work. Took about two hours overall. If I had to rate the worker I would rate him 4 out of 5. Would have been a 5 had he been a little cleaner with his work space, and a few minor details. I'm very nitpicky with how things look inside my house, wish he would have used smaller spacers in-between the water heater and the wall. Instead they were fairly large unsightly wood blocks. Overall he was a friendly and professional man.
I would use Fast Water Heater again.

I was at Home Depot looking at Hot Water Heaters. Mine was 12 years old and I was upgrading with a thought to selling my place . I could find a hot water heater but no way can I put one in myself ! I am a single woman . Besides, you don't just put one in, you have to dispose of the old one also and get a permit from the city. Home Depot recommended Fast Water Heater Company. It turned out that they were the same company that put in my last water heater 12 years ago. I live upstairs in a condo so it has to be done right or big problems ! I called this company while I was at Home Depot and they arranged to come out the next day. I thought they were going to look at my place and take measurements and we would schedule the installation a few days later . But , no, Robert came out, measured and said he could install immediately ! Well, that was great in my book ! So about 90 minutes later I had a new hot water heater, the old one was gone and the place was neat and operating smoothly. I did not have to worry about a thing. Robert was so nice , polite and professional that I did not feel at all nervous about a stranger in my home !! I am totally happy and recommend Fast Water Heater Company especially to all the single women !!

My water heater was 10 years old when it started leaking from the pressure relief pipe. This was not a slow leak, it was as if a faucet had been turned on and occurred at the convenient time of 2:00 a.m. I was referred to Fast Water Heater Company by my local gas company after they told me how to shut off the leak. I called after 8:00 a.m. and they had a service man out the same day to replace the old unit. I am very happy with the installation and the prompt service. What a relief not to have to worry about the quality of the work - it was done under a permit and inspected by local code officials.

My old water heater was falling apart so new one professionally installed was an immediate need. The technician, Donny, arrived during the scheduled time window and went right to work. He inspected the existing heater and then explained what was needed. The old shutoff valve needed replacement. He pointed out its poor condition that I had not noticed. Donny also explained a local ordinance requiring earthquake straps - I hadn't known about that, either. We discussed costs, established what I wanted and he set to work. The old one was out with a minimum of mess, the new one installed in a very timely manner. Donny was professional and courteous. I heartily approve the Home Depot choice of using Fast Water Heater Company for their installation service.

There is simply no way the five star reviews are true! None of these reviews are validated in any kind of way. I sure the company sits around and make their own reviews for their liking. Myself and many other people I know, have had a terrible experience with this company. They come into your home with a "Code check list" and start adding up the $$$. The items on this list are questionable and perhaps not applicable to the situation. You certainly get the feeling the technician has financial gain involved with this code check list and not your health and safety. With this company a water heater install that would normally be around $600-$900 can easily go over $1500. And you are kind of stuck when you have waited for the technician all day with the thought that the price quoted to you was it. NNNOOO not when they pull out the code check list and start adding on to the original price. Yes, they warn you of this when you set an appointment. What they do not tell you is just how much it will add on to the original price. Which can be BIG MONEY!
I hope this review stays on this site some how. I sure this company will demand its removal. But before that happens I hope this will help other people make a good judgment. Go with a company that is true to its word!

Fast Water Heater was scheduled to install our water heater after our purchase at Lowe's. These guys are very professional and friendly on the phone. When Cameron came to install the water heater, he was just as friendly and helpful. We purchased the wrong size water heater (needed a tall) and Cameron took it back to Lowe's and made sure we got the right size. Once it came in from Lowe's Cameron was back out and did a great job. My wife and I would highly recommend Fast Water Heater to our friends and family.

I purchased a new water heater from Lowe's and decided to have it professionally installed rather than do it myself. I was reluctant to spend that extra money but I'm so glad I did! My old water heater was on it's way out, and I was connected to Fast Water Heater through Home Depot.

Dale did a great job explaining the process, pointing out the code violations in the ducting, and proposing a solution.

When he picked up the water heater for installation, he remembered I wanted the 9-year warranty instead of the 6-year that the warehouse had pulled for him.

He called prior to his arrival, arrived when he said he would (with the requested unit) and even had his supervisor out to help solve the challenge that the ducting posed.

Great service, easy to connect with, very knowledgeable group, all the way from the folks on the phone, to those that do the installs.

Just recently had our water heater replaced with a new hybrid tankless water heater that was installed by Fast Water Heater Company. Although we did have some problem with not having adequate hot water at first, but after a bigger unit was placed, it's all running good now. The technicians were efficient & thorough.

We called the company before 8 am, needing 2 water heaters replaced; they were at the house by 2 pm, and done by 5 pm. Great job, very professional, kept in contact prior to arriving to ensure on-time delivery. We did opt for a 10 year warranty upgrade on both heaters - noted later that one already had a 9-year manufacturers warranty, so check before you opt up on warranties, you may not need it. i went down to the basement late last week and found water all over the floor, now some times our basement leeks, but i fornd the actual problem real quick it was our water heater it was over 10 yrs old and was leaking badly. i emidiatly called the people that put it in 12 years ago to see if they could come out and fix it that was fast water heater company, they where closed at that time it was very late so i left a message to have them call me in the morning and set about cleaning up the water and draining the tank, at about 7 am the next day i got a call back from fast water heater, the said the would be happy to make the repair and could be there around 3pm i told them that was great, there installer actually showed up an hour early and had the tank in very quickly and cleaned up the area, and disposed of the old tank the prices where very reasonable and the installer was very nice, i can tell you that they did an outstanding job and are experts at water heaters because i am an apartment maintenance supervisor for a large property here in Seattle and i wish all of my people where as good as this gentleman is, his name was Mr. Smith i didn't get his first name he was very good however.

We called around to three providers to get quotes but FAST Water Heater provided us the best cost estimate by reviewing all possible issues prior to the site visit/installation. They were very curious about our existing conditions and helped to find the best option for our house. The customer service was great over the phone and the men who delivered the WH were friendly as well. Because we needed an electrical upgrade they didn't end up installing it, only dropped it off and didn't charge us for the labor or their time.

The installation guy was so nice and explained all of our options and clearly told us how much each item and the labor would cost. Our new hot water heater was installed, old one gone, area cleaned up and we all set with hot water in our home again! The gentleman from Fast Water Heater came and measured the spot where the new water heater was to be installed. He was back that very same day and installed it. The following were an additional cost but well worth it; water catch pan, earthquake straps and alarm. The alarm sits on top with a wire going down to the water catch pan the heater sits in. If water starts collecting in the pan the alarm will sound. (of course you have to be home to hear it!). I live in a manufactured home and the old water heater had none of the previously mentioned items. He was very polite and explained everything thoroughly, WOULD USE AGAIN!

This company responded quickly and answered my questions. As it turned out, I only needed to have the pilot light reignited and the technician showed me how to do that myself. Also he checked various things relating to having a new water heater installed and gave me some estimates for that. I was pleased with this company's service.

These guys are fast! Waterheater went out Sunday evening, and we had a new water heater by 4:00PM next day. Ryan and Ian were courteous, professional, answered all of my questions, and finished the job in one hour. There were no surprises, and they cleaned up the site. They endured my barking dogs and me hanging around asking lots of questions. I'm sure they would prefer just doing the job in silence, but I wanted to see what happened and how things work. I appreciate their kindness and professional manner. I'd definately work with Fast Water heater Company again. PLUS! They took away my old dead tank!

I am very pleased with the service from FWHC. My 17 year old water heater blew out Saturday morning at 9:00 a.m. and I had it replaced by 3:00 p.m. Aaron on the phone was very helpful in explaining the options and prices and Dale did the installation. He called to say he was running ahead of schedule and he arrived by 1:30. Dale was very patient in explaining the technical factors and he worked fast and efficiently. When he left there was no mess or debris for me to clean up. He did a great job!

These guys were fantastic. My water heater wasn't working on Monday, but 3 pm they were there and got it working. I asked about installing a Tankless and by Wednesday it was done. I would use them again in a heartbeat although I am certain I won't have to in the near future.

Very friendly technician, called to say he was running ahead of schedule and asked if he could come early or exactly at the scheduled time. Clearly explained everything he was going to do, then went about replacing the water heater quickly and efficiently. Could have done a better job cleaning up the work site, and adding on costs after the initial inspection on site (piping, expansion tank, etc.) makes it hard to verify whether or not the additional services are really needed. Ideally a more accurate quote should be given over the phone.

They also promise a $25 rebate if you leave two positive reviews about them online.

Bottom line: Excellent company if you know exactly what you need, or if you don't mind paying a premium.

Last night we noticed a small leak in our water heater so we found the water heater we wanted on HomeDepot.com then called Fast Water Heater Company and left an overnight non-emergency message. Evan called back first thing in the morning and set us up for install mid-day. Before long Jeffery called to confirm he was on his way. He showed up smiling, on time, and with the right water heater. He made the swap in no time, he is a real pro. When he left the area was clean and the old heater was happily gone. From this experience we highly recommend Fast Water Heater Company in Portland Oregon.

They did a good job installing our new water heater. It was done professionally and to our satisfaction. All questions were answered and the new one seems to be working well. They had to carry the heaters up and down a long flight of stairs and had no problems. We bought our heater through Home Depot and they were hired to install it all in just one day.

My hot water heater started to leak so I decided to replace it before it rocketed through the roof of my garage and landed in my living room. I went to Home Depot to look for a high efficiency Energy Star certified replacement water heater and went with Home Depots recommendation (FAST Water Heater Company) for installation. What a shock, the installed cost was $1500.00 so I asked about installing one of the new high efficiency tankless demand-style hot water heaters instead. Id gotten estimates before but they ran to almost twice as much as the FAST estimate.

Ginger was a champ; she had someone out to do an estimate that same day even though their office is fifty miles away. Fortunately, the location where they needed to install the unit had ready access to electricity, natural gas lines, etc. and would only cost a few hundred dollars more than just replacing the old style water heater. (After all the tax incentives and rebates were deducted.) I had to pay the up-front costs and file for the rebates, but with Gingers help I had all the rebate paperwork done and submitted in a snap and have already received some of the rebates.

I decided on the tankless system to get unlimited hot water and save on energy at the same time. They had it installed and running the very next day. When they say FAST, they arent kidding.

Ive enjoyed unlimited hot water for two months now and because the unit is mounted up on the wall I gained more floor space in my garage as a bonus. I highly recommend FAST Water Heater Company. Call or email and ask for Ginger. (866) 673-9794

Recently bought a new water heater at Sears. Fast Water Heater was hired to install the new unit. The service level was excellent. Our old heater went out on a Friday and Fast was on hand to install the new one on Saturday. After determining they could not safely move our new 75 gallon and needed another guy, we were told the install would happen on Monday due to schedules of the extra person. Without having to ask, the tech got our old water heater back up and running (requiring 2 new parts) without charging us to get us through the weekend. Monday arrived and Fast had the extra guy here and the new unit was installed without issue. The techs were friendly, knowledgable, and honest. Our old water shutoff started leaking when it was turned back on and the tech could have easily pushed a new one on us (the old one must be at least 20 years old). Instead, he got the old one to stop leaking. These guys are honest, courteous, clean, and they know their stuff.
