On August 10th, we had a sewage backup in our finished daylight basement. Luckily, Cary Reconstruction Company (CRC) responded quickly and professionally.

The mitigation team put a quick stop to the damage and tore out the affected areas. Marcus Ladd, with Ryan Boone, headed up the team that responded first. Everyone who came out to help did such a good job and were so kind and courteous.

Then, Drew McDonald came by to survey the area and give us estimates to provide to our insurance company -- all the while the restoration team meticulously catalogued everything that needed to be done.

Greg Brown was assigned as the project manager for the reconstruction project. And I can't say enough about his ability to coordinate and schedule all the trades and services involved in helping us put our home back together!

He communicated with us about each step of the process and kept us informed about Cary Reconstruction Company's cooperation with our insurance company. As the various trades came in and out of our home, he attested to the details of their workmanship. He is a real team-builder and a trust-builder.

While I sincerely hope that none of my friends ever need reconstruction services, I certainly know who to recommend if they do -- CRC. Professionalism and courtesy were hallmarks of the people we dealt with!

We recently had a bathroom pipe connector break during the middle of the night and awoke to find water covering the wood in our hallway, the vinyl flooring in our kitchen, and a portion of the carpet in our den.

Our insurance company recommended we call CRC for an assessment of the damage. I didn't know quite what to expect, however, the receptionist was so kind and helpful that I immediately felt at ease...

She assured me that someone would be out to assess our situation and shortly after receiving that call we had someone at our door. Marcus Ladd not only assessed the extent of the damage, but explained what was happening under the flooring in each area and the reason for the order of each step in the process. I appreciated this knowledge as it helped me to understand what would be taking place and it made me feel that CRC would be doing everything possible to get our home back in order for the long term.

While the floors were in the drying process, several visits were made to check the progress. Nate Mullins met with me to explain the renovation process and explained his part in overseeing the next steps in getting our house back in living condition. He was also extremely helpful in guiding us through our meetings with Thads of Carpet One.

We met with Thads, made our choices, and before we knew it, our home was back in order! We are thrilled with the workmanship and thankful for the guidance we received along the way. It was so nice to work with so many people who really care about what they do!!! We'll definitely use them again in future repairs and renovations!!!

Even a small incident in a person's home can be a real hassle and recently I had TWO toilet tanks crack at the exact time--causing extensive water damage to my home. Thankfully, I contacted Cary Reconstruction Company and soon met with my crisis manager, Ryan Boone.

Mr. Boone was very courteous and professional. After coming out to look at the damage to my home, he did everything he could to make my bad situation as comfortable and painless as possible! He was very easy to work with and is extremely knowledgeable about structural damage and what procedures are needed to make broken things whole.

Mr. Boone is definitely a great asset to CRC. Another is Mr. Dexter Park. Mr. Park and his reconstruction team were all very understanding and they went out of their way to make sure my needs were met. I can not begin to tell you just how professional his team was. The job was terrible! I fired the company before the job was even half complete! They promised they would fixed ALL the damage but once they started the job, they seemed to be in a hurry to finish and get out of my house! JUST SOME OF THE PROBLEMS: they didn't square my roof before they put the shingles back on, they left a damaged piece of ply wood on the roof (still with a tree limb sticking through) and shingled over it, they prepped the inside for paint, even though the ceilings were so water damaged, they were sagging, they replaced drywall and re-pop-corned it without even taping and mudding the corners! TERRIBLE, SLOPPY JOB! I wouldn't even get them to build my dog house! New contractor has to tear out EVERYTHING CRC did and redo it correctly!

Had a pipe burst under kitchen sink 2 days before Christmas. Insurance company hired CRC and they came and after 3 months...3 MONTHS they had only started to remove the ruined carpet! Also when they replaced the underflooring, they cut corners and tried to reuse things and did a very UNPROFESSIONAL job! Very displeased!
