Dr. Cosgrove is awesome! I've been seeing him since the mid 90s and he's always been quick, friendly, and reasonable. I've never had an issue that he didn't address and he has always been upfront about the necessary work I needed, not the "extras" that many other dentists say you need but don't really have to get done. I ended up going to this dentist's office on a friday afternoon. The dental hygienist (who only comes in on FRIDAY - just my luck) really did a number on my teeth/gums. He pressed and rubbed SO HARD (with his tools) that I now have two huge sores on the sides of my cheek/gums.

The reason for my visit was to see if I had any cavities, not to get a mouth disorder that has caused me to lose 4 nights of sleep and total discomfort throughout the day. I do NOT recommend going here, especially on Fridays.

The doctor was nice but he seemed rushed and I didn't feel like he was really checking my teeth with care. I felt like he was just "skimming" and didn't want to bother checking "in depth" because that would cut into his lunch break.

I don't wish a visit like mine on anybody. Good luck deciding whether to go here or not.

I have been to Dr. Cosgrove several times for dental work, and I would highly recommend him. He and his assistants make you feel comfortable and relaxed. He explains what he is going to do before hand. The office personnel will give you a friendly reminder call before your appointment to remind you. I have been very pleased at his office.

I've been to Dr. Cosgrove's office many, many times for fillings and it's always been as much of an enjoyable experience as getting your teeth drilled on can be. I've always been taken in for appointments on time and was usually out within an hour. He's great at explaining what he's doing and makes sure his patients are comfortable. The assistants who work in his office are also very friendly and attentive. After finding his office, I havn't been nervous about going to the dentist anymore. I would definetly recommend him to anyone who is searching for a good dentist.
