David Gutierrez is a native San Diegan who knows how to get results from the local judges and District Attorney’s. Also known as “El Peleador,” or “The Fighter”, San Diego attorney David Gutierrez has an established reputation in the San Diego and Southern California legal communities for fighting for his clients’ rights in a wide array of criminal defense and civil litigation areas. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of California, San Diego and his law degree from University of California, Hastings College of the Law. He was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1995. During law school, Mr. Gutierrez interned at the Alameda District Attorney’s office. This experience provided valuable insight and a distinct advantage in negotiating with district attorneys. He was also a regional director for a national medical review firm, where he reviewed personal injury claims. He uses this valuable experience in his personal injury cases, because he can understand first-hand how insurance companies value and evaluate various claims. Before opening his own office, Mr. Gutierrez was an associate at a criminal defense firm where he gained extensive experience in defending clients charged with a wide variety of Federal and State crimes.
