Pros: Location was great in Buckhead, but they moved!
Cons: Overpriced and bad service. Smells like mildew.
Very disappointed! I just saw an I-Team investigation (Fox 5 News) indicating that some of the sushi items being served are not what is listed on the menu. In their investigation, the red snapper whas acctually tilapia! I will not be be

Genki has great atmosphere and sweet servers. Everyone is easy going and ready to please. It is a bit cramped, but the food and the value is well worth it! The sushi is always incredible. I take friends, family and out-of-towners there

Pros: Great Food, Great Value, Fun Atmosphere, Friendly Servers
Cons: Parking is a pain, but that is buckhead.
While visiting family & friends, I was treated to a sumptuous dinner at Atlanta's Genki restaurant. This restaurant has traditional sushi along with many other unique and delicious choices. I particularly liked the Reid roll. I highly

Pros: Food was the best. Service was great and the menu unique & delicious.
Cons: Not enough (tummy) room for all the great food.
This place was packed on a Wednesday night at 8pm, so obviously lots of people love this place, but I just don't get it... Parking was a pain (valet across the street and then run across Roswell Road). There was a nice patio, but it was

Pros: Half Price Bottles of Wine on Wednesdays
Cons: Service, Parking, Loud (bad) Music
Went there on a Saturday night with 9 friends, half were eating sushi and half were eating noodle bowls. We sat in the basement, and enjoyed the atmosphere. That is the full extent of the good. The manager sat us and took our orders,

Pros: Atmosphere
Cons: Horrendous service, Wait time, and average food for a high price
I don't mind long dinners with friends, but it took us over 3 hours to get out of Genki. They did warn us that the kitchen was running behind. I have a feeling that this is normal. I always felt like we were waiting for something. The

Pros: The endame.
Cons: The sushi and the slowness of the staff.
I would suggest going here for the social scene and drinks more so than the food. It wasn't bad by any means and the services was good (even on a Friday night), but it was so packed with people just hanging out, that it was a little hard

I dined at Genki on the recommendation of a co-worker last time I was in Atlanta. It's definitely more low-key than other places in Buckhead. Everything here was impressive: the drinks (but not the house merlot), the edamame, the chicken

Pros: drinks, food, waitstaff
Cons: not a fast food, in the rush , do not come
The food was poor quality. We waited a long time (5 of us) and then two of the dishes were NOT hot. The waitress took them back and did not return for ten minutes. Do not bother with the noodle bowls. Also, the sushi was somewhere

Pros: bambo is cool, fish tank is colorful
Cons: food, service is slow, parking is damaging
So here we take high end Japanese Cuisine and Japanese commoner food and put them side by side and charge $20 a plate? I don't get it. First time I was at Genki I guessed I ordered a bad item (sesame mahi mahi on soba noodles). The

Pros: idea is quaint
Cons: bad quality, rude waitstaff, lack of training
The fish quality was subpar for a sushi place, thin and too close to the eye, required a bit of chewing. So stay away from sashimi and only do the fried rolls which are OK. Parking was absent. One has to valet, but the wait was terrible

Pros: sake
Cons: subpar quality fish, overcooked apps, too many kids!
I took a date here thinking we could go dancing afterward.
Problems:#1 despite reservations, the wait was over 30 minutes and we couldn't get a drink at the bar. The table was dark & noisy, maybe that is part of the atmosphere.

This place serves the best gourmet food in town. The employees are the best servers in the business. There's never a wait, bcause there are two bars, a huge patio, two inside seating areas, and two downstairs lounges ideal for parties and

It baffles me how so many restaurants in Atlanta stay open with reviews such as "...decent food, awful service." I will never return to Genki. The sushi is middle-of-the-road - not bad, not great. The service is unacceptable. On my

Pros: Not bad food, Relatively cheap
Cons: Service, Service, Service
I've always been aversive to the concept of sushi but was "dragged" there for a group event. Ended up enjoying the atmosphere, food, and attitude immensely. Many of my dining companions are sushi veterans who raved about the food. Good

Great sushi but also enough on the menu for the non sushi eaters! I especially love coming here becuase I hate the taste of seaweed, but Genki offers an alternative - Goma paper (made from soy). I can now get the rolls I love without the

I had a great time and loved the food the last time I was at Genki. The perfect place to go to enjoy an evening in town. Good food, Fun people! And the best part is Rob! Keep the great work up.

I have to say that both times I've been to this overated restaurant, I was not impressed. The staff seems to think that they can do no wrong and that they aren't actually working while they are there.

Genki's is filled with excellent sushi. You must try the Super Crunch. I don't even like sushi and this place was great! The atmosphere was fantastic...talk about people watching, there isn't a better spot to look at the hottest people

Pros: Sushi, Good-looking people, happening spot
Cons: parking, loud, dress to the nines
This is by far the best sushi in town. The great after work scene deteriates the service, but if your personality isn't bothered by all the "Big City" fun then this is the place to be!
