Live in Van Nuys and suddenly on a Sunday nothing in my house woudl drain or flush. Serious crisis with a house load of people. Called Arie over at Plumbco and he was at my place in less than an hour. Such a relieve cause I was stressed that nobody would come on a weekend. \n\nArie had this massive router on his truck. He got it positioned and cleaned out our main sewer line. It fixed the problem and he was so nice.\n\nDefinitely going back to Arie for any more plumbing emergencies.

Had to get my main sewer line cleared, b/c it was backing up into the bath tub and oozing out disgusting black stuff everytime I flushed the toilet. As with all bad clogs, it happened on a weekend and I was having trouble finding a plumber with a a big / long enough metal rod hose to get down to my main sewer line.

Arie picked up right away and was so quick to help. He brought his truck over with all the right heavy duty equipment and fixed the problem in under 30 minutes.

Really happy with the fast and quality service. Would definitely use again.

Arie's service was excellent! He came to our house and installed a new water heater. He was prompt, and polite, and did extra work without the extra charge. We highly recommend him to others and will use him again.

Arie from Plumbco was AWESOME!!! I was having trouble with my kitchen sink. Ith had been draining VERY slowly despite my attempted Draino efforts. I was also in dire need of a new hot water heater. I gave Plumbco a call and spoke to Arie. He gave me the name of a store to go buy a new hot water heater. Not only were the selection of hot water heaters a higher quality, but they were cheaper than ones you would fid at Home Depot or Lowes. \n\nArie then arrived at my house on time and replaced the new hot water heater with the existing one. He then addressed the kitchen sink and got that cleared up. He gave me such a great deal on both jobs I could not believe it! Great service for a great price!

When I moved into my house a year ago the water heater started leaking all over the place the second we turned it on. I price checked a bunch of plumbers and Arie at Plumbco was the cheapest and sounded the most helpful on the phone. He came out THAT DAY and ripped out the old water heater and told me the best place to go for a new one ($150 cheaper than Home Depot)!! Then he came back and installed it for me - all at an awesome price. He was so great that I had him come back and install my dishwasher the following week and was just as impressed with him then.

Plumbco located in Van Nuys, California, evolved from good to mediocre to really bad. \r\nDuring his first visit, Mr. Glassman installed a gas line connecting to my washer/dryer. He did a good job. . \r\nMonths later, I called him after my toilet overflowed & water backed up, in my bathtub. He ran a plumber's snake & extracted wipeys which were dropped in the toilet located in the front house. He also installed a ""cheap"" faucet which I will not comment on in this post. Mr. Glassman remained at the property for less than 30 minutes. \r\nOn 12/25/08, the toilet overflowed and water again, backed up into the tub. I called Mr. Glassman who again ran the snake & dredged up a ""small"" pile of what he said were wipeys. Mr. Glassman charged $150 and finished in less than 20 minutes. \r\nThe following morning while bathing, brown water poured through the drain. I quickly got out of the shower but saw water rising in the toilet. The water poured over the rim and spread across the bathroom floor and into the hall. I called Arie and told him the problem had reoccurred. Rudely, he exclaimed, ""I don't work for free!"" \r\nI paid Mr. Glassman during each visit to my home making his statement both inappropriate and rather stupid. He said he would see if he could come out again & offered to call me in a short while. While waiting, I contacted the landlord because whatever I paid to Mr. Glassman was deducted from the rent. The landlord told me he thought Mr. Glassman's charges were too high and said that if Mr. Glassman agreed to come to the house again, that he first contact the landlord. Mr. Glassman called back a short time later and said he would come by in the next 3 hours, I asked him to contact the landlord. Sometime later, Mr. Glassman arrived but due to a previous appointment, I left while he worked. When I returned later that day, my roommate said Mr. Glassman again charged another $150. I called the landlord to inform him that the work had been completed & about the cost. He told me that Mr. Glassman had been ""rude"" when they spoke earlier that day. If Mr. Glassman had done the job correctly there would be no reason to have called him 2 days in a row or pay him $300 to unclog a single pipe. But what made matters worse are his insolent, disrespectful attitude. I afterwards, posted a complaint on www.ripoffreport. \r\nA few weeks later, the toilet again overflowed and water filled the bathtub. I called the landlord who called another plumber. That plumber, a young man, ran a snake and remained at the property for more than 1 hour. When he finished, he dredged out a pile of roots. For some reason, Mr. Glassman had been unable to dredge up roots. Maybe its because he was in a hurry to do the work, collect a check and leave! \r\nOn 6/11/09, at about 10:39 p.m., my cellular rang. It was Mr. Glassman. He ranted and raved about the post critiquing his work, alleging it was inaccurate, full of inconsistencies, and alluding to what I wrote as ""cr-p."" He accused me of placing him ""in a prison"" and said there are more than 55 posts online praising his work. I told him I only documented what I experienced. I finally ended the call after I reminded him of the time. \r\nOn Saturday, 6/13/09, Mr. Glassman left a long voice mail & asked that I call him. I called him back and told him that my post was correct and true but he started to argue. I stopped him, stating he was becoming an annoyance. He started to yell, ""I'm going to kick your a--. I'm going to your house and I'm going to hurt you. I'm going to teach you a lesson."" He went on and on and on while my roommate listened on the loudspeaker. I hung up but he called back immediately and left another long, drawn out voice mail in he slandered my character. I have now filed a report with the LAPD, filed a complaint with Service Magic, & have written to the state Licensing Board of California.\r\n
