Banfield Pet Hospital

I have experienced problems with Banfield Pet Hospital after signing up for the Optimum Wellness Plan that cost $455.40 for a year. I first brought my dog to Banfield located at 5013 S. Cleveland Avenue, Fort Myers, Florida on January, 2010 because he was having skin problems. He was scratching, he had irritation on his body, he was licking his paws, and he had a foul smell. I have been to the Banfield location listed above five times in five months and spent well over $700. The African American female Veterinarian located at the Cleveland Avenue, Fort Myers store has been treating my dog from the beginning. My dog continues to have the same problems. She is incompetent and she cannot diagnose what is wrong with my dog. She has wasted my time and money. On my last visit May, 2010, she stated to me that she does not know what is wrong with my dog.

Moreover, I decided to do research on Banfield online. I searched the Better Business Bureau and I was shocked to learn that Banfield has had 167 complaints in a year within a 36 month period. I also searched Consumer Affairs online and learned that Banfield also has several complaints lodged against them. Then I did a general search on google.com and there was a wealth of information on Banfield complaints. If I only would have done my homework before I signed up for the Optimum Wellness Plan with Banfield. I want to inform the public to not fall in the same trap that I did. Go to a different Veterinarian and beware of Banfield.

I know for a fact that the vet there is not a compassionate responsible vet. She has killed so many animals that is heart breaking! Take my word for it! She is a cold-hearted monster!!! She is not even close comparing to everyother vet. Banfield pretty much hires brand spanking new graduated vets out of school... who have no real history of experience!!! I had a parvo puppy who sat in the clinic all day suffering! When she was specifically told that he was positive. What kind of cruel vet are you hiring! All they have are computers that tell you what to do! She can't even come up with her own treatment plan! Why pay a practice that just takes your money and kills your pet!?!?!
