Avenue Animal Hospital has been our vet since 1984. I've never thought of going elsewhere.

My puppy has crazy separation anxiety so I was nervous when we dropped him off, but they took such good care of him and made him feel comfortable. He was perfectly fine when we picked him up!

Our first visit went really well. I thought the staff was wonderful, we saw the vet right on time, and I liked how patient they were with us.

Message from Avenue Animal Hospital
Avenue Animal Hospital was the first veterinary clinic to open in Tinley Park, IL in the early 1970s. Dr. James P. Wahl purchased the clinic in 1987 and has been here ever since. For the first 20 years, Dr. Wahl was the sole practitioner, but the practice has slowly expanded from a small 900-square-foot facility to a 4,500-square-foot facility with four veterinarians. Throughout the whole process, we have maintained the same level of personal service that pet owners and their furry friends deserve and respect. We are dedicated to our patients and will do everything in our power to make sure they lead a long and happy life. When you bring your pet to our office, they instantly become a part of our family as well!
