As a physician, the practitioners bedside demeanor was great. However, I am surprised that he did not know that I had received a Sleeve prior to speaking with me. He was surprised by that.

I came in for an initial consultation. Staff was 'okay' on friendliness. The PA was very friendly and sweet, but rushed through the appt and gave me no time for questions. I had to stop her in the hallway to ask questions. The financial dept was just 'okay'. It is very frustrating that they refuse to give a total cost for the procedure. Very very frustrating. How can I know if I can afford the procedure without knowing the total cost. Also, the hieght measuring stick is way off. They measuring me three times and insisted that I measured 5' 4', when I am most definitely 5'6'. Unfortunately will not be able to move forward with the procedure because the website said that it would cost $6500, when come to find out it costs about double that. Leaving disappointed and disheartened.

Dr Holden did my vertical gastric sleeve on July 25, 2014 at Baylor @ Trophy Club. I've since lost over 60 lbs and couldn't be happier w/ my decision to go with Kim Bariatrics and Dr Holden. My only regret is that I didn't do this sooner! My pre and post op care, and the support has been first class. I highly recommend the offices of Dr Holden and Dr Kim.

Dr Kim did my Gastric Bypass Surgery in 2004 and I lost 100 lbs. I am so happy with Dr Kim and his staff, they are the best. Thank you for giving me my life back!!!

After years of yo yo dieting my PCP suggest I see Dr. Kim. I'm so glad I did!!! He performed my gastric sleeve in August 2011 and I've since lost over 100 lbs!! Now I have my life back!! No more high blood pressure medication and no more sleep apenea!!! I can do things I never thought I would ever do...zip line, run 5k's, 10'k, sit in a movie theatre seat without overflowing to the next person, buy clothes in just about any store and most important keep up with the grandchildren!! From the first visit Dr. Kim was straightforward and upfront with what to expect...no sugarcoating which I highly appreciated!! He is the best in his field and I would recommend Kim Bariatric Institute to anyone who is ready to change their life!!!

In Jan 2012 I had the Gastric Sleeve surgery done. I have since lost a little over 90lbs. I chose Dr Kim because a friend of mind used him and loved him. I met with him on my first visit and saw that he very nice, kind, calm and highly educated. Through the process I saw that he had a great passion for helping people change their lives. I went through a lot of classes which helped with my success as well. The office staff is all really nice and supportive. I saw Dr Kim on my surgery day and the day after. I was glad that I chose Dr Kim. I am able to do zumba, ride my bike, and jog and ease now. I have even zip lined! I am truly living life again!
