This is a great library, located in Brentwood. My six-year-old loves walking to the library and picking out books. There are great summer programs for kids, with prizes for reading the most books. What a wonderful resource. Helpful and friendly staff, too.

If you like used bookstores or book bargains, this is a great stop, that not many know about. Usually open during the Brentwood branch library's operating hours, it's got a great selection of books donated by library users. Profits go back to the library. I've found many nice kids books for cheap, and even some high-quality collectibles at nice prices.
