Chili's Grill & Bar

I've gone to this Chili's several times before...the food was good and the service was really friendly. However, these past few times I've gone were absolutely horrible, I have never received such bad service at any restaurant. Most recently, upon entering Chili's, my fiance and I stood there for at least five minutes before someone actually came to greet us (it wasn't very busy either), not that it mattered much seeing as we were simply motioned to seat ourselves with a point of a finger. The booth that we sat at had a severely sloping table that seemed to be held to the wall with hot glue. The waitress was somewhat friendly, but she only came to see if we needed anything three times in about an hours time, two of which were for food. Needless to say, we had empty glasses for the most part of our dinner (once she served us our food she would disappear and no other waiters or waitresses were around). The food was ok, though I've had better at this location on prior occasions. I will say that it was quite humorous (not) to see the hostess/ greeter to merely be sitting at the bar rather than taking care of customers that were AT THE ENTRANCE WAITING TO BE SEATED. Ultimately, I would not recommend this Chili's to anyone and neither my fiance or I will be going back until Chili's gets it together and provides a service that is at least up to par.

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND Chili's to anyone. We had a dinner which was fair but the service we terrible. The credit card was charged twice for different amounts and when I questioned it, "the system" would not allow a credit to be issued. the unconcerned waitress and shift manager both said I would just have to wait for a few days for the charge to 'drop off'. I called the manager the next day he had the same - 'what do you want me to do about it ?' attitude and did absolutely nothing. Apparently they have enough business they can ignore problems, they'll get by without mine.

With the exception of Auburn game nights and holidays, this Chili's has reasonable turn-around, and thus the wait time for a table (if any) is very short. The staff is friendly and responsive - wait staff remember the refills on drinks, to bring the food hot and quickly, and to bring the check when requested. Menu prices are reasonable and affordable. We don't typically order dessert because we're too full after dinner, so I can't comment on dessert.

This Chili's location is smaller than many located in larger cities. The food is usually good and the staff tends to be friendly. Their desserts are not very good though.
