Dr Berens is the best vet I have ever gone to. She is compassionate, honest, stratightforward and she actually listens to what I have to say. Her staff is very caring and gentle with all my dogs. I wouldn't even think of going anywhere else. Sometimes you do have to wait but it's because she takes the time with each pet and each owner. It is not a factory there.

DON"T COME IN!!!!not only is Dr.Berens rude to her clients. But makes you wait and wait. We waited 2 1/2 hours for 2 vaccines for my dog, then she would not come back into a room to speak with us about anything else in concern with my dog, she had already stepped into another room for her next appointment and she never even called back, She had her assistant to advise me of bloodwork to be done on my dog, and when I asked her question she couldnt even answer them Thanks for the bad experience. NEVER AGAIN!! Do yourself a favor, if you think you time is of value don't come to this place. Dr. Tamura at Capri Animal Hospital is more knowledgeable and less expensive.

Whenever we saw Dr. Berens, we had a good experience. She is very knowledgeable and compassionate. However, we were never assured that we would be seeing her, and I'm not even sure she practices there anymore. It seems like each time I took my dog there, we saw a younger and more inexperienced vet, who did not know my dog, his history or anything about him. Yesterday, I found a lump on his back, and wondered if it was connected to his recent rattle snake vaccination. As soon as I noticed it, I took him to the clinic, because it was near closing time, and I was at the park when I noticed the lump. After finishing with another client, and taking the time to walk them to the car, etc. she came back to me 15 minutes later saying that, because it was now after hours, I could have him examined at emergency rates ($75), or come in the next day at the normal rate ($35). She didn't even run her had over my dog's back to feel the lump, and she wouldn't tell me where the shot had been given (They took him to the back when they gave the shot, so I didn't see where on his body it was given). I am changing to a different, highly respected vet down the street whom I know will see my dog when I make an appointment to see him.

Dr. Berens is a wonderful vet. She helped me save some wild kittens that were sick and abandoned. While it was too late to save three of them, the other two recovered and thrived under her care and are now living happy lives together in Las Vegas with some friends of mine in a family with two kids who really love them. I would not even consider taking my own 2 cats anywhere else! They even do cat grooming, which my long-hair cat needs at least twice a year. West Valley Pet Clinic is the BEST!!!

I had an emergency situation with Mazi, my Senegal parrot, and Dr Berens saw me on a a SUNDAY!!!! Not only THAT, but she and her assistant (whose name I've embarrassedly forgot) were SO compassionate, not only to sweet little Mazi, but to ME!

The entire complex was spotless, and I felt a real "kindness" about the place -- even from watching the other professionals at work.

I felt that Dr Berens absolutely LOVES being a vet, and she spotted something else unrelated to why I had brought in Mazi, for which I am also relieved.

The price for the care we BOTH got was more than fair.

Dr Berens will now be all my animal companions' vet, and I told her so!!!!

I know that Mazi -- who's sitting on my head right this second -- agrees with my decision.

PROS: Dr Berens is OUTSTANDING
CONS:

Dr. Berens is a great vet. She has a wonderful bedside manner with dogs and cats. She is also a bird specialist. She was very compassionate when we lost our dog and cat, not her fault!

PROS: open on sunday!!!
