The Italian side of my husband's family have been going to this church for years and still are going here - no wonder we picked this church - we have attended many special and regular masses here - the church is beautiful and modern - they have a great school - Great priest and supporting staff.

This was my Church growing up. The church is absolutely beautiful and has so much room. Parking is fine. During mass you need to get there early or you may have to walk. If you are looking for an older, ornate church - this isnt it.

Another catholic church located in the sunset district. The church isn't built like the normal catholic church with the bell tower it is shaped like an octagon. They have a school here from k to 8th grade. Great community. I remember going to this church as a little girl with my aunt.

My sister graduated from Mercy high school and their graduation ceremony was held at Holy Names church. This was the first time I entered the church. It is a beautiful building that fits at least 300-320 people. The isles are very roomy and the church has "theater" seating, meaning the pews are at an angle so that wherever you sit, you can see the alter. The building is well maintained, however there is only street parking. What attracted me to this church was one prayer area with Jesus and Mary. You can kneel and pray or just light a candle.
