Use this office with caution. While I'm sure they are knowledgeable and caring (I have used them in the past) I will not return to them again. I was able to get an immediate appointment after explaining that my cat had injured his tail. After examining him, the vet assessed that the tip of his tail should be amputated. However, they did not have any surgical openings until the following day. They said they could keep him overnight then do the surgery the following afternoon, then probably keep him another night. They gave me an estimate (almost $400) and I reluctantly agreed. However, after thinking about it, I didn't feel it was right to keep my cat at the vet for three days for such a simple procedure. I called the office to tell them that I would be picking up my cat and that I would just take my cat to emergency later in the day. They called back 5 minutes later and announced that they could do his surgery today, as they just had a cancellation. (Wow, what a coincidence.) They said he would only need to spend one night there after the surgery. I decided to pick up my cat, as I couldn't help feeling as though I was somehow being deceived. When I arrived to pick up my cat, they prepared a bill for an exam (now $32, instead of the quoted $17) $18.40 for an office fee (what the heck is that? guess it pays for the pretty paper.) $3.60 for waste fee... he got a little blood on the exam table, guess there is waste fee involved? and $17.45 for a stretchy orange piece of gauze for the end of his tail. A grand total of $71.45 for what... really just a tail exam and 2 hours of cat storage. At that point, I thought, I'm already spending the better part of $100, why not just leave him there and have them do the surgery. Why? Principles. Apparently, Redlands Animal Hospital lacks them.

Spent hundred of dollars on wrong diagnosis. My dog never got better. I just moved to another animal hospital
1Dr. Hanson is amazing, he takes the time to make you feel welcomed and like he really cares about your pet. My little puppy even liked him! I definitely recommend him!
5Redlands Animal hospital is the BEST! We have taken our pets there for years and are so grateful to have them. I would highly recommend them to anyone who loves their pets...and who doesn't?
5Each time I have brought my two cats to Redlands Animal Hospital, they and I have been treated with great respect. The medical care my cats have received has been excellent. Dr. Hanson talks you through the exam and explains things thoroughly. I highly recommend them!

Dr. Hanson is an excellent vet. He is very good with your pets and knows how to diagnose them right away. The prices for service are very fair and you know your pet is in great hands.
