I love the quality of the cut I receive and am thankful that its an Aveda Salon too! My fianc is now getting his hair cut there and people have noticed. He loves the complements and I love how handsome he looks. :-D

Pleasant environment, and a good quality men's cut for a very reasonable price, as long as you know what you want and can be specific. I've tried other more expensive salons and have always ended up coming back to Chatty Chuck (he does talk a lot when he works)

The title is 'beyond hair' but their specialization really is just hair. They did my cousin's hair cut, and he wanted the typical short guy's hair but they spiced it up a bit and made it look very stylish without looking too fruity. Good job. I highly recommend their services and would like to try them myself.

I read good reviews about Beyond Hair, was impressed with their prices (only $30 for a haircut and style), liked the fact that they offer Aveda products and the intimacy of the salon. I went for a consultation & was told I should let my hair grow long and leave it wavy. Scheduled a cut one week later, he forgot what he said and cut it shorter with more layers and straight. He was great with highlights and is very nice. Things are slow, every time I went, my back was soaked when he washed my hair and I had people tell me my previosu haircuts were better (previosu my hairdresser moved away). Nice owner, nice slaon, nice prices, juist not a spectacular cut.

Count on Chuck and his team to give you a great cut and friendly service. When you walk in, you'll notice the music playing -- sometimes it's 80s, sometimes it's a mix of sounds from any decade/genre. Then you'll be offered a beverage, which is poured into a very sleek glass. Haircuts usually start with a scalp message - a nice way to stimulate the roots and get one relaxed.

This is a peculiar place. They made a sign that was so goofy that one of my college acquaintances was inexorably forced to steal it (he had big hair). I think the idea was that, if he stole the sign and posted it outside his room, that people would like him better. Well, he did and they didn't. It was sad, really. See, if he'd gone into Beyond Hair and had his hair cut, then people wouldn't think he looked like a deranged crazy person. Instead, he defaces their property and hopes for the best. Who said that social skills were necessary.
Ask for Beulah at Beyond Hair. She does wonders with a mullet.

when I 1st visited Sanoma at Beyond Hair, my hair was damage. I can tell you that , since the first day my hair change is different and now is healthy and beautiful because of her and Aveda products.
Sanoma is a professional hair stylist with many years of experience. I highly recommend her, u won't regret. Call Sanoma at 661-209-9461and make a appointment with her. She only works on Saturday.
Sanoma has been doing my hair for seven years, and I swear it has never looked this good. I came to her with a 2 inch long, massive split end mop on my head. Now I have beautiful, healty hair that reaches the middle of my back. She truely cares about about what I want and goes through extreme measures to keep my hair healthy. She is honest and treats every customers hair as if it is her own.

Cons: Sanoma is only in Pasadena on Saturdays
The Stylist at Beyondhair are very fair ,cause they are there enjoy doing hair, other salon in Pasadena are Over Price. Stylist like Chuck,Bonnie,and the others are there because they love doing hair ,not over charging.Recently a new stylist in there salon name Sanoma,She speciallize on black hair and my wife was in just last week she did the best job on hair hair,Sanoma takes her time and make sure your hair will be perfect before you leave the salon.

Sanoma's hair care is intense, she gives you the style you want with weightless results. My hair was free flowing and extremly healthy after the first service. She is very professional and educates you on hair care, she also uses only the best products, AVEDA! Sanoma is new in the area and looking for new clients I highly recommend her for relaxers, press and curls, and even roller sets. She also specializes in strand by strand weaves! Call her, she is the best. (661-209-9461) You won't regret it! : )

This was the best $30 bucks I've spent on a haircut! The space is small and intimate, with tantalizing Aveda displays in the front. One of the first things out of my stylist's mouth was "I don't think any haircut should cost more than $40." I showed him pictures of what I wanted, and he said "I know what you want!" And instead of clipping madly away, he took the time to show me exactly what he was going to do and why. When he was done, my hair looked exactly the way I wanted it to.
