There is a great selection of pretty much any topic you can imagine here. The store is big and packed full of books, and there is always someone willing to help you find what you're looking for. Good location too.

Phoenix book store has nice personality and atmosphere, and it's a very comfortable place to browse: clean, well-lit, and roomy. The workers are helpful, knowledgeable, and very personable. The selection is good. Located in downtown San Luis Obispo, among other likable shops and businesses, there is pay-parking available at public lots.
