Poquito Mas Restaurant

If you're craving delicious, fresh mexican food, go to Poquito Mas! Their Carne Asada Burrito is sooo good! You can also call your order in ahead of time if you don't feel like standing in line.

Out of the chain restaurants out there, this is probably one of the best. Initial impression is that this place reminds me of Baja Fresh (in terms of decor). The food is freshly prepared (tortillas are prepared fresh daily). I've had the tacos and burritos both in chicken and were quite tasty. The salsas were also very good. Menu is somewhat limited. I would rate this place in the 8s as opposed to the 9s (currently rated).

My nutritionist recommended this restaurant for their healthy menu offerings, and I love it. The "Nature's Grilled Vegetables" with chicken and sliced avocado is my mainstay, and the cooks now call it the "Dave Allen Special" (after my nutritionist, not me). I occasionally even have some chips now that I've found they use zero transfat oil. The only con is that most of the parking is in back, but I can usually find street parking in front on Ventura Blvd.

They make the corn and flour tortillas fresh right in front of you! This is the best Mexican food and the friendliest service I've found anywhere.
