The Bakersfield Pregnancy Center is located downtown, close to Carl's Jr. If you think you're pregnant, make an appiontment here for a free test. You are not kept waiting long. They will talk with you, make you feel comfortable, let you know all the options you have if you are pregnant, etc. If you need help with maternity clothes or baby clothes/items, you can come here and they will give you some. I can't stress enough how nice this facility is. It's run mostly on volunteers and they really are great. I went here with 2 of my kids and also donated stuff and would do it again if given the chance.

I absolutely love this business I have used their services during both of my pregnancies. I have donated things to them several times and will continue doing so. Anytime I have someone in need of help during their pregnancy this is where I tell them to go.

When I wanted to find out if I was pregnant with my children I went to this clinic. This clinic will keep your information private, will put you in a quiet and private room while you are taking your test as well as counseling. The room is also very comfortable and peaceful yet, it does remind you of a "quiet room" at a funeral home.

Another wonderful service this clinic does is provide maternity clothing, infant clothing and occasionally infant furniture.

PROS: Private, helpful resources, donated items.
CONS: Some services are not free
