Ripped my shirt, still made me pay for the cleaning, and offered to let me pay to have the shirt repaired.

Don't go here.

I have been going to this cleaner b/c it has been convienent, but I will never go back after they ruined too many of my garments. They are expensive and are not fast. I have yet to see the skirt they ruined a month ago. The manager tried to blame me for the random BLUE stains all over my pink skirt that was obviously a dry cleaning chemical that splattered onto the garment. Very bad customer service.
Do NOT go here!!!

Pros: convienence

Cons: price, customer service, poor quality

London Dry Cleaners' only good thing is that it has free parking. This is a plus in Westwood Village, where meters are hard to come by and the parking lots are expensive. However, they are a ripoff dry cleaners. It costs between $5 and $7 to dry clean something. They take forever--three days after you drop it off. They have the most expensive tailoring I have ever heard of--$18.75 for the original hem on a pair of jeans. Most places are $15 tops. Sure, they get the job done but for the price you pay, you could do better elsewhere.

There was an extremely rude guy at the counter when I went. I would not recommend them at all.

If you HAVE to come here, please be armed with a coupon. If you live in the West LA area you probably get coupon envelopes in the mail. They always have 20 and 35% off coupons, which make the price just a little more expensive than your average cleaner's but still, you don' t get what you pay for here. UCLA students get a 10% discount, I think

PROS: Parking, they get the job done
CONS: EXPENSIVE, slow, rude people work there

The place is convenient because it is close to my home and they validate parking which solves the usual Westwood parking woes. I will pay the extra money it costs to come here instead of somewhere further away that has slower service, to save some time.

I park right next to London cleaners everyday for work, so this is as convenient as it gets. They give a 10% discount for anyone associated with UCLA. But even with the UCLA discount I feel like I could get a better deal elsewhere. The service is good and they have a nifty computer system so the transactions are fast and you know what you're paying for each item.
