Independent Porsche Service Scientific Automotive Repair and Maintenance

Recently purchased a 2007 328i and it needed an oil change. Took it to Scientific on a recommendation from a friend. Jack the owner gave me the price of $300+ for the oil change and a quick look around the car. After the service he recommended coming back for new brake pads as well. I took it to AGA just to get another estimate and was informed that brakes, oil and just about everything else are all covered by the warranty and that it would be unethical for any BMW service provider to work on the car and that this is common information. Jack at Scientific knew the car was under warranty and went ahead and performed the service as well as recommended additional services all while knowing full well that I could take it to any dealer and have these services done at no cost. Seems unethical to take advantage of my naivete but good for him he made $300 but lost what could be a long time customer.

Brought my 81 911SC (original owner) to Scientific for repairs, all mechanically related. Work was completed on time, and with excellent results. Highly recommend. Get a picture of the total mechanical needs of your vehicle, you decide what you want to do and at what cost. Simple.

I wrote a good review of this place but have since figured out that their prices are on the high side for Audi work. I have no reason to think their work isn't solid, but for the price, there are mny other less expensive options.

I've had several repairs done by this place and their prices have come in 30 to 50% less expensive than Rusnak's quotations. They work on Audi, Mini, Porsche and BMW only. They've also always finished the work when promised and have been honest and straight about the repairs I needed.
