Wow, where to begin... well for starters, a friend of mine used to be a regular there and after making it known she had no sexual interest in the owner, was yelled at and humiliated BY the owner for always hanging out there alone,

I went here for a friends birthday and was surprised. It has a nice look to it and the bar tenders are laidback. It's not that big yet people are able to dance and not feel too crowded.

Pros: easy and fun

Great bartenders and fun crowd to mingle with. I went with a group of girlfriends for a (long overdue) girls night out. After getting a few rounds at Amante we thought we'd try some other bars in the area, but we ended up coming back.

I have finally found my place after living in the city for sometime now. Finally a GREAT bar in north beach! I have been in this place now a half a dozens times now always thinking this time won't be as good as the last, but this place

This place needs to hire a new bartender. I asked for a french martini and was brought something else and when I asked the waitress to bring the right drink she gave me attitude about how itwas a true french martini. I order this drink

My recent visit to Amante was very comfortable. Being familiar with North Beach
It was nice to listen to a great mix of music , sippin' on my favorite cocktail, and
chit chattin' with people I know and people I just met.

Pros: FAST SERVICE, FRIENDLY, LOTS OF EYE-CANDY

The boys running the Amante show are fabulous. They take well care of their guests and let the ladies run the show whenever they please. Great time had by all.

Loved this bar. Drinks were prepared well and the decor is fabulous. Would reccomed this place to anyone and everyone.

this place is really cool - sophisticated, lush and yet totally unpretentious. they have the BEST french fries served in this classy little cone thing. teh waitresses are supre nice too. just not the place for a margarita.

Great place to such a few drinks down and get some food. Location in North Beach is ideal and you can walk to many other places from here. A nice Saturday afternoon is perfect.

The food is alright, however it took well over a half hour to be served a simple appetizer after placing our order. The bartender who served our drinks was quite possibly the most rude individual my friends and I have ever encountered.
