I bought tires online and have them mount & balance. I had never seen a tire place as busy as them. Vehicles kept coming in and out and just about everyone worked non-stop. The two ladies in the cashier did a very good job to keep things orderly.

.... every tire company should know this, especially the one that replaced your tires so be careful cuz they installed your the WRONG way, anyway .... I bought 4 35 size tires from them at the BEST deal around town at exactly $850 installed, everyone else was charging me at least $1000+, also their service department is great and very helpful. I truly recommend this shop!

.... every tire company should know this, especially the one that replaced your tires so be careful cuz they installed your the WRONG way, anyway .... I bought 4 35 size tires from them at the BEST deal around town at exactly $850 installed, everyone else was charging me at least $1000+, also their service department is great and very helpful. I truly recommend this shop!
I do not make a lot of money, so when I found out I needed 4 new tires, I almost fainted! (Cracks were forming all over them) I was about to go to a junk yard to find used tires, but past experiences of constant tire blowouts with junk yard tires stopped me from going. So a friend recommended me here. When I called for prices, I was AMAZED! I then bolted there. Got me 4 new, great quality tires for much much less than I was expecting. VERY affordable and great, fast precise service. I am never going anywhere else, especially a junk yard.

Tracy, I'm sorry you felt that way towards Tucker Tire. Tucker Tire has been in business for over 52 years started by Mrs. Rose Tucker.
To try and explain their actions, the industry, and if you search under most manufacturers, will find that when replacing only 2 tires it is recommended that the new tires be installed on the rear and any existing tires moved to the front. The reason behind this is new tires provide increased resistance to hydroplaning due to their full tread depth. With new tires on the rear, an over steer skidding condition may be more easily avoided.I hope this helps to clarify this misunderstanding. I send my wife and daughter to Tucker Tire never worrying if they will be taken care of.

I went to Tucker tire co. because of the reviews I read. I was very disappointed with the salesperson I asked for two new tires to be installed in the front and he explained that he could not install the new tires in the front , he could only bring the two old tires in the front and put the new ones in the back. He said it was for safety purposes.If that makes sense to any one please let me know!!!! Anyhow I went down the street to another tire shop I got exactly What I asked for with excellent customer service. It is hard for a woman to find a honest and respectful auto shop.

Correction!!! Tracy, All of the major tire companies did extensive tests a few years ago to determine where tires should be installed if a customer needed only two tires. Every tire company came up with the same conclusion. PUT THE NEW TIRES ON THE REAR OF THE VEHICLE. This includes front wheel drive and rear wheel drive vehicles, cars, trucks, and suvs. Think about why this makes sense. If you have to stop suddenly on a wet street you want to have the better traction on the rear. This will help to keep the car stable and stop in a straight line. With the worn tires on the rear of the vehicle you have a good chance that the front (new) tires will grab the pavement and the rear tires will lose traction and cause the car to spin around. Tracy be careful in wet weather, Tom TuckerI agree with previous review. I heard a noise and discovered a bolt in my tire. I went to this company and they examined while I waited. I was expecting to need new tire. The technician came few minutes later told me the bolt was removed ,no damage and they charged me NOTHING!! Thankful they didn't rip this woman off! I will return when I need new tires!

If you need tires or a brake job...come here. VERY HONEST! I would recommend to everyone. They will actually tell you if need something done or if you can wait a while. They are very friendly and will try to accomodate you also. The prices are very good also.
