City Of Millbrae Library

The new library is just gorgeous. I like the fireplace area - it is so comfy. They also have a great homework room and computer lab. I also like the used book area where you can buy books to help support hte library. Lots of great deals.

I love the new Millbrae Library. I like the fact that they have a dedicated person to help the kids after school with their homework. The staff at the library is always very helpful.

PROS:
CONS: can be noisy during after school hours

This is a fairly new library in Millbrae. It was remodeled about a year or so ago. It is very close to where I live and there is a convenient lot for parking your car. It is loacted in the area right behind Mervyn's and it is in a safe area.

The library inside is very nice. Once you enter, you see the little help desk and a wall with advertisements about public transporation and kids events at the library. I like the kids events at this library, they are often and look fun. There is a huge selection of books and there is also a massive amount of computers available. You do have to get a library card to stay on the computers for more than an hour. However, you can log in as a guest as well.
There are a few "private rooms" for study groups. Overall, its one of the better lobraries in the area. Everything is new and the people are very helpful.

This new library is very nice inside. There are an ample amount of computers available to the public and the staff are very nice. The new library is definitely an improvement over the last in terms of lighting. There are plenty of well lit areas perfect for enjoying a good book. If you are looking for a book, they also are able to transfer books from other libraries making it very easy to get many books.
