This store has blouses and scarf that are outdated in fashion and they are sold for almost double the price. The clothing has been on the manicanes for months because you can see the dust on them. Not a place to shop for something fashionable.

I took the blouse piece for my wedding sari to here to be tailor made. The guy assured me that the tailor is very professional & been in business for > 20 years. I gave him two rolls of thread matching the fabric color. I asked for a trial & he said he done many wedding blouses & never a trial is needed.

When I got the blouse back, I cried. The lady, who made the blouse, used my thread, took it off for some reason, didn?t cut off the hanging thread & she used purple thread on Maroon fabric to stitch. This lady not to be seen or contacted ? when I asked him to call her, he refused saying that she wasn?t home & then he said that he will go over to talk to her. Not only the blouse hooks made with this purple thread were hideous, hemming near seam showed purple thread also. Quality of the hemming is the worst.

The guy said after I asked him about the purple thread ? 1st he said that it is the same color as maroon, & then he said I gave him two different rolls ? purple and maroon; then he said my thread was of bad quality & so the lady used purple! When I asked him about a bump near the sleeve saying that he doesn?t see any bump and it is the ironing. He said that he done many wedding blouses ? I said that it certainly doesn?t look like so!
While purple thread on maroon fabric, bump on the sleeve, numerous loose hanging threads & threads pulled off the fabric would be visible to anyone, this guy argued that it is a perfectly good blouse.

Later he said the tailor lied to him & said that she used the maroon threads and not purple! He also said if someone lies like that he cannot do anything, and that this tailor is bad. I asked him why he gave her my blouse if she is bad. He said that he does business with 3 or 4 ladies ? all are the same.
Please be prepared to receive complete quality assurance initially, & if you are fooled enough to give them business, be prepared to have a crappy job and get your expensive garments ruined by them.

Pros: nothing - getting fooled by false assurance for a quality job

Cons: don't go here!

I took the blouse piece for my wedding sari to here to be tailor made. The sari is more that $700 ?? so you can imagine how beautiful this blouse piece was. The guy in the store assured me that the tailor is very professional and been in business for more than 20 years. I gave him the roll of thread (2 reels) matching the color of the fabric. I asked for a trial and he said he had done many wedding blouses and never a trial is needed.

When I got the blouse back, I was ready to cry. The lady, who made the blouse, used my thread, took it off for whatever reason, didn??t cut off the hanging thread. On top of that, she used a purple thread on a Maroon fabric to stitch. By the way, this lady cannot be seen or contacted ?? when I asked him to call the lady, he refused saying that the lady wasn??t home and then he said that he would have to go over to her to talk to her.

Not only the blouse hooks made with this purple thread were hideous, the hemming at the seam showed the purple thread as well. The quality of the hemming is the worst. I or even a child can do better hemming than that.

Listen to what the guy said after I asked him about the purple thread ?? first he said that it is the same color as maroon, and then he said I had give him two different rolls of thread ?? one purple and one maroon; then he said my thread was probably of bad quality and that??s why the lady used purple (!). He then insults my intelligence when I asked him about the bump near the sleeve where it is joined with the main body saying that he doesn??t see any bump and it is the ironing that caused it. He kept on saying that he has done many wedding blouses ?? I told him that it certainly doesn??t look like so!

While the purple thread on maroon fabric, the bump on the sleeve, the numerous loose threads that were hanging all around the blouse and the thread pulled off the fabric itself would be visible to any naked eye, this guy kept on arguing that it is a perfectly good blouse.

Later after reaching home, when I called him again to tell him that I was angry, he said the lady who tailors it lied to him ?? she told him (after I left) that she used the maroon thread (only the ones I gave to him) and not a purple one! He also said that once someone lies like that he cannot do anything, and he said that this tailor is bad. I asked him why he gave my blouse to someone who was bad. He said that he does business with three or four ladies ?? all of them are the same?. But he has to use all of them and that??s how the business goes!

So, please be prepared to receive courteous service and complete quality assurance initially when you visit the store, and if you are fooled enough to give them the business, be prepared to have a crappy job while they don??t even give you a discount with the service charge. Normally any store here in the US will give you your money back but forget about getting any compensation for getting your expensive garments ruined by them.
