Boring, outdated, not at all pleasurable or tasty. Oh, bad service as well.

Locatred right in the center of downtown San Jose..This place is a dare not to miss!!! The fish is always fresh and cooked to perfection! Appetizers are tasty too!
4Scotts Seafood Bar and Grill is super yummy and is located right there in downtown San Jose...good food with good prices..great place to meet up for a work function or with the family
4Pricey menu. Unprofessional staff (waitress slouching against wall and railing while talking and hostess seemed bored). Unattentive staff even though restaurant was eeriely empty on Saturday night 8pm. Clam chowder was bad. Lobster risotto was undercooked (was told ridicuoulus excuse for that). Paid $90 all together - totally not worth it. Look somewhere else.

Pros: no wait (empty)
Cons: expensive, way too much for the quality
I love dining at Scott's Seafood. The interior is simple and welcoming. The staffs are friendly and polite. We ordered a cocktail named Scott's Rose Bud and it has a great aroma of rose, even though it was too bitter for our taste. We also have the Boston Clam Chowder, Fresh Dungeness Crab Cakes, Seafood Salad (extremely fresh and healthy), and Dungeness Crab Cioppino (seafood stew). They are all super delicious (especially the Seafood Salad) and great for sharing (huge portion).

I've been to Scott's several times and Scotts is one of the best Seafood Restaurants in San Jose. The food is good and has a good view overlooking downtown SJ. The service there is spotty. I've been there where the service is great, attentive, & fast and times when I was greeted by the matradee smacking her gum and chewing it as she showed us our table and the water and bread service was slow. The seafood there always taste fresh, portion sizes big, and they use unique sauces and vegetables to add flavor to the dishes. Prices are on the high side: $7-$12 for Salads & Appetizers, $20-$28 for entrees, & $30+ for steaks and Lobsters. If you are looking for good seafood in San Jose and don't mind spending a bit for good, fresh, seafood, with unique tastes, then I would recommend Scotts.
