Marshall Thurgood Middle School

The campus is too small for a middle school. The school has the appearance of a jail with a number of bars "locking" the students in. They offer a number of programs for students to join.

Marshall is a new school that has only been open for about 7 years. It isn't as big as some other middle schools but it has a great library and good teachers. It offers various electives educates many students very well every year.

Personally I would have to say this is one of the best public middle schools in san diego. The school on a whole looks very clean and almost like it is new. The teachers are great especially two of my 6th grade teachers. I'd recommend this school to anyone parents searching for a great middle school.

This school is a great school. But the school is just way too small. When i went there it was packed full of kids. The teachers are very good but it was hard to find somewhere to sit down at lunch.

yea its boring, but for a school its pretty good. my teachers suck though. at least its all most over. one more week! go here, its the best middle school around. For sure

I loved attending school here! The teachers and staff were very highly educated and left me ready for high school. Their coherent teachings and consistancy made it for a pleasant learning experience. Their security were always on duty and i felt safe no matter where i went i the school. The school is also a highly ranked school for such a little neighborhood. Great Learning, Good Fun, Awesome education!

Although I did not have the best experience, the school was a pretty fun atmosphere and most people were nice. Teachers were accommodating to students and it was also close to home.

I went to Marshall from 6-8th grade. I liked Marshall because it combined 3 elementary schools into one. It looks like a jail but the teachers where cool. The school is also way to crowded. But other than that is a nice middle school.

Marshall middle school seems to be more impacted than ever before. They built bungaloes all over the old basketball courts, so now there isnt as much place for PE. The teaching staff is pretty good, and there aren't too many problems with students and staff. Overall a pretty good middle school.

With the growth of Scripps Ranch, Marshall was built to accommadate the new population. The school isn't that special at all. I wouldn't say many of the teachers are super good or anything but they get the job done. The PE department is ridiculous. They make you take a shower with all your classmates no matter what. Damn Nazis. However, it is one of the higher scoring schools and many of the kids seem they have a good time.
