I got taken for a ride! Do not trust these guys! I took my RV there to get a AC evaporate core replaced and got charged for it but the item was never replaced. When I asked to see my old part, he said that the scrap metal guy had already picked it up. A mechanic there confirmed that he did not come that day. Dale is an older,short, fellow who sounds cordial and all but a Unscrupulous person. Make sure you ask for the part removed as it is your right. My bad was not requesting it up front but he's a crook!

I went here after a series of sketchy mechanics all around the area and they did a great job fixing up my car for a much less price without the underhanded tactics. Very honest and good work with very little wait which means the world to me! Time is money!

This is the most professional and honest automotive repair shop I have ever been to. The repairs they did on my Lexus were superb, on time, and within the estimate. Changed axle, as well as a few other repairs. If you are looking for a place that truly believes in honesty, speed, and customer satisfaction, then check them out! You won't be disappointed.

One Star is way too much for this place. This place is pretty much set up to swindle you every step of the way. They said my car would be done in a day and two at the most! HAAA! 4 days later they couldn't even give me a diagnosis yet they refused to refund my diagnosis fee. They claimed that they had put way to much work into trying to find out what was wrong with my AC that they had earned that $. Me.... I get NOTHING! No diagnosis, No refund and No Car for 4 days. Do yourself a big favor and find a reputable repair shop.

I know a lot of people complain about their experiences with mechanics, so I thought what about those ones that are actually good and get now recognition for their shop. So, here it goes, I had a pleasant experience with Crown Automotive Repair. They are personable and knowledgeable. I will make sure that I will always come to Crown.

This is by far the best oil change I have ever had. Everyone here is so proficient and really understands what they are doing. I don't live in the area however I would recommend this place. Excellent customer service.

My car is an old 54 chevy that is restored. I am very touchy when it comes to my car. I have been going to Crown Radiator for 11 years. They have always taken great care of my car and can't stress enough on how careful they are in the work that they do so absolutly nothing happens to the car. This time i had brake work done and they were so briliant in taking of the wheels and like always best prices in town. I will keep coming back intill i have no cars to drive. This is the place to go if you love your cars.

i have recently moved in to pasadena from santa barbra and was looking for someone to service my bmw taking it to the dealer was far too expensive and some what of a drive. i asked around my work and someone recommended crown radiator so i decided to give them a shot for brake work and a oil change i talked to the owner phil and he informed me it was best for me to bring it in and let them diagnos it before they can give me a quote so i did after they checked it and gave me a price i decided to call around i decided to let them do the work and i must say i have been real happy with the work they have done so far since then i have taken my girl friends car and have recommended a few other coworkers and all have been happy so i will continue to recommend them to people i know. thanks for the good work

I have been a long time customer of Crown Radiator and they have always taken good care of my cars. Its a great shop with friendly employees, and yes sometimes they take a bit longer than i would want , but its great to know that they have been around for a long time and will be around. I dont have to worry about them closing and leaving me with warranties that would not have a shop to honor them.

I used to take my car to crown radiator heating and air and prices were very fair so I decided to take my car again about 2 week ago and I left it there for the weekend, so on monday man name Dale called me and told me it was going to be 5 hundred dollars I said ok what can you do when you car is taken all a part,well it ended it up being 780 dollar because according to them they had to change the whole radiator. dont ever take you car there they are a ripoff.

My dad has been a customer of crowns for many years, and always said that i should take my car to them for repairs. Well I should have listen sooner. They got me back on the road and for such a good price. I wont mind driving an hour for a good automotive shop.

My car had been at the dealer 3 different times for AC work, to my shock they were not able to find the problem with the ac. One of the employees there suggested i take it to Crown Radiator. After they had it for 1 day they found the problem. I was impressed with their service that i will DEFINITELY recommend them to all my friends and family

about 2 weeks ago my car broke down on the 210 frwy. I had an old work order in my car from work done 2 years back. I looked at the hrs worked and realized that they had just closed but decided to call anyways. Surprised they answered i explained my problem. They not only sent a tow truck they waited until my car arrived and gave me a ride home. I cant say how thankful i am to have a mechanic shop that truly cares about the customers.

Crown Radiator has the worste service ever. My vehicle has been stuck there for 2 weeks and they just keep increasing my cost!! They have not found the problem bu dismantle your car so you can get it out and just keep adding charges!! STAY AWAY!!

terribly sorry i am sorry that you had such a bad experience here at our shop that is not how we do things please allow us to make it right for you. we strive to provide the best service possible i dont know what or why it happened but can assure you we will make it right.I had my car at the dealer for an engine problem. The price I was quoted was astronomically high. I remembered my dad always taking his car to Crown so i drove it down there. I am happy to say that crown saved me from spending alot of money and they go that extra mile for great service.

I have been a customer of crown radiator for a very long time.Ive been going to them for regular servicing on my vehicle and have been very pleased with their service. They have properly informed me how to maintain my vehicle keep it on the road with out having to spend a lot of money.Their level of customer service goes as far as them picking up my car from my job to do something as simple as an oil change. I have and will continue to recommend them to all my friends and family.

I recently went on insider pages to gather information on auto repair shops in my area i decided to go to crown radiator for air conditioning work that my car needed.being that it was my first time there the staff there made me feel very comfortable and provided transportation to and from work.When calling to inform me what they had found with my car i was very suprised to find out it was some simple and inexpensive to fix my cars air conditioning has been working great since.im glad to know that there is still honest auto shops around needless to say i will be using them for all my auto repair needs.

I`ve been a long time loyal customer of crown radiator and air conditioning and still continue taking my vehicles there because of the kind of service they provide. i have refered all of my friends there and have never heard anything bad from any of them.over the years they have saved me lots of money and time from going to the dealers they are nice enough to provide me rides every time i go in for service.the new owner still provides great and dependable service.

Going to the myriad mechanic shops on Walnut Street in Pasadena is a hit and miss proposition, and Crown Radiator Heating & Air Conditioning is a definite "miss." After five days with my car (including over the weekend) they still couldn't fully diagnose the problem with my air conditioning. They told me it would be a $49 diagnostic fee when I first brought it in, and then said they would have to charge me another two hours labor to fully determine how to make the AC work once they had it for three days. They didn't keep me updated on their progress either--I had to keep calling to find out what was going on.
PROS: No positive aspects. Avoid at all costs.
CONS: A poor mechanics shop that will give you the shaft.

me and my family have taking our vehicles to crown radiator for many years and we have had very good and dependible service from them.unfortunitly i moved out of the area and have since then had to find another mechanic to sevice my vehicles doing so i realized that its hard finding a good and reliable shop so i called the new owner and asked him if he can provide sevice to me on saturdays as its the only day i can drive out there he not only did so but he also let me borrowed his company truck to to get around in for the day while they worked on my car .getting good service is definitely worth driving an extra 36 miles

finding a good mechanic is hard thats why knowing someone who has had good experiances with one makes it much easier i recently moved down here from the east coast not knowing any one i asked my boss who he has been taken his personal and company vehicels to for a very long time i took my vehicle to them and had great service there they were very knowlegable and freindly and provide good service they were able to get my car done in a timely manner and also provided me with a way to and from my work so i will make it a point to highly recommend them to every one i know.
